Unfortunately, the HDMI inputs frequently lose signal, and require the tv to be reset to work again. This happens less frequently with the Apple TV than with a Chromecast. Either way, makes an otherwise good TV quite annoying at times.

However, the built in cChromecast is several updates behind so it doesn't properly display all streaming apps in 4k which is the main reason I bought this. This is annoying since this is a brand new 2019 model that should have come with the latest version of chromecast and not been several updates behind. Vizio doesn't seem to have any interest in updating it to the latest version either so I have to hook up my Chromecast Ultra to this device to get proper 4k streaming for most apps which is ridiculous. I won't be buying Vizio again due to their terrible software support. Buy a different brand that properly supports their products and get a streaming device instead of something built in.

Posted .Hi Pppppppssssss4444! We do update our Chromecast software when we can. We work closely with Google for these updates but since our TV's aren't a normal Chromecast they do have different versions which may make it seem like we are behind on the update.

The two major problems that caused me to return it: 1) the "VA" panel common in tv's like this one cause a lot of color loss in the picture when viewing it from much of an angle. In my room set up, this turned out to be a bigger problem than I expected. 2) I could not get accurate lip sync from my Xfinity 4K DVR box over HDMI no matter how much I played with the sync setting on the tv. I added a sound bar and it was no better. It was maddening. I ended up exchanging for a LG set on sale for the same price which has an "IPS" panel that allows wider angle viewing, and lip syncing to both the tv speakers and the sound bar has been perfect out of the box. One other note - don't let the feet on the ends of these 50" tvs worry you if your tv stand isn't so wide - there are plenty of low price center pedestal bases that attach to the VESA slots on the back of the set.
