Great TV at a decent price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to buy a different TV and picked this up instead. Very happy with the purchase. Set up is easy. I am using it with my Google Assistant and they work quite well together. The color is vibrant and crisp. I am enjoying Vizio’s new Watchfree. Comes with over 100 free channels! The sound is quite decent as well, however, I am also using an optical cable to connect the TV to Bose entertainment center for when I am watching movies. The Smartcast is nice and I usually keep the TV in that mode mostly. I have also connected the TV with Apple TV to have a different interface.

Great buy for the dollars.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm very satisfied with the purchase, however I recommend not having a flat panel TV shipped to your location. The screens are too vulnerable as with most flat screens. The picture is awesome. The features are numerous for this price range. The only question I have is in the set-up. I am trying to find out the difference between "living room" and "family room". They make a difference in the two in the viewing mode selection. Like most flat panels I also recommend purchasing a sound bar for more complete sound quality. I am 65 and have been a Sony fan my whole life. This purchase is one of the better ones.

Great budget minded 4K TV!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my first 4K TV purchase, and I can’t complain about it at all. This TV is perfect for a living room where you have limited space. It has a perfect viewing area even if you want to sit up close to watch TV or play video games. Stunning colors, and the deep blacks are amazing. All can be adjusted to your liking. When I first started up the TV, the standard default picture was good as is. I only had to adjust the color temperature to a less cooler color output, almost natural. The “Cool” setting was a bit blue to my eyes. You can fine tune the color settings, but I won’t complain about the default settings. I play the PS4 and Xbox 360 on this TV, and it blows me away with the perfect 4K quality. Excellent TV for the money. It has close competition with upper end Samsung, Sony, and LG 4K TVs, but Vizio is more affordable.

Great tv! Excellent quality & easy to use!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Did a lot of research because i did not know much about TVs but wanted a smart tv that was 50 inches. Looked into LG, Samsung and Vizio and all similar models but i likes Vizio because it has Bluetooth/chrome cast/air play, great picture and sound is excellent! Only issue was during set up- it wasn’t working properly until the software updated and then had issues with xfinity so unsure whose fault it was... but once set up, great! I use it mostly for Netflix, cable and I connect my phones Spotify and peloton app to it as well. The chrome cast is really cool and easy and great for working out at home. Great picture! I like the smart capabilities of this tv and the remote is easy also.

Awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The purchase was quick and easy. This is the 3rd Vizio that I have Purchased in 15 years and they all still work. I purchased A Samsung last year and it broke 1 year after I bought it. It was a piece of junk.

A very nice QLED from Vizio
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve used Vizio products for the last decade and had my 38” main tv go out. It lasted about 8 years and was about time for a large increase. This model is Vizio’s 2019 quantum tech package. Excellent viewing angles across the living room, rapid response when switching apps, and was able to be paired with my Amazon Echo. Very happy with the product for the price.

Great TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV to use as a camera system monitor. The picture quality is great. Mounting the TV to the wall and setting up the TV was extremely easy. The WiFi on the TV is pretty good as well. This TV is mounted in a warehouse office with metal walls and ceiling where the WiFi signal is not very strong. Even in this environment, the TV's WiFi adapter performed very well.

I love Vizio! Price was right!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great t.v. I didn’t have time to watch t.v. so I haven’t owned one in 7 years. It’s smaller than my last one and perfect for what I need. Since the pandemic and having to be quarantined I’ve gained 23 pounds. While working I can play WII and walk several miles with Leslie Sansone “walk to lose weight” videos with this t.v. and still be working.

Q: QuestionI see that the stand depth for this TV is listed as 27.98". This seems unusually large, especially since the next largest TV from VIZIO (SKU:6345457), is listed as having a stand depth of 10.04". Is this, by any chance, a typo?
Asked by Minotaur.
- A:Answer I'm not sure about those numbers. The Quantum M series 50" (2019) has the following clearances. This was important for me so I could place a sound bar between the feet and under the screen. Where the feet touch the surface there is 37 inches between the left and right feet. However they are designed at an inward slant. Where they connect to the TV body the distance between the feet is only 34 and 1/2". The height from table surface to bottom of the tv body is 2.5 inches and no more. If your question is really about depth, the feet are as follows. From front of foot to back of foot is close to 10 inches. (10.1) Installed the front of the foot will protrude from the front of the tv by approx. 3" and the back of the feet will extend about 4" beyond the back of the tv body. This might sound confusing but read it slowly and in part.

Q: QuestionThis 50" TV is wall mountable, correct? I notice there is also another 50" Vizio 4K TV that is $200 less. What is the difference?
Asked by CrowleyDawg.
- A:Answer You're probably looking at the V series for $200 less. The M series Quantum uses Quantum dot technology. A comparable version to this is the Samsung 8 series which cost around $300 more than the $400 M series Quantum. For the money it's a really good TV. I'm buying one soon. After I did my research I came to the conclusion that the M series Quantum Vizio is the best TV for the money. And if you're looking for a good wall mount checkout the Echogear fully adjustable wall mount on Amazon. Good luck!

Q: QuestionThis shows how clueless I am, but here goes: Do you need cable with this TV to get regular channels? If so, does that mean that it needs to be near the cable box or just enter the wifi password?
Asked by fish.
- A:Answer If you have use an antenna, Dish Network, DirecTV or other traditional means of receiving TV then yes, you will need a coax or HDMI cable. If you have "cut the cord" and gone to HULU, Sling, YouTube TV, etc, you'll need your WiFi password. Additionally, Smart TVs like this give you a lot of cool extras when you hook them to your WiFi regardless of your TV service.

Q: QuestionDoes this TV have Bluetooth to support wireless headphones?
Asked by Jimzab.
- A:Answer This TV does use Bluetooth LE for connecting to you TV to a device with the VIZIO SmartCast application. However, this TV does not have Bluetooth audio out support.
Answered by VIZIO
Q: QuestionIs this Vizio a 2019 model?
Asked by Murph.
- A:Answer Yes this is the 2019 model. Quantum M-Series didn't include 50" models until this year, as far as I am told. (at least not here in the US)
