Although League of Legends is standing as one of the most played games in the world right now, it may all just be bandwagon hype in lou of Call of Duty. My main reasons for getting this starter pack were to try out LoL and see how it fairs verses Dota 2 which is completely free to play (sans cosmetic items). Meaning initially it is so much easier to start playing. League of Legends is a fun game, but it doesn't truly justify having to drop cash on new characters just so I won't be called a noob.

I bought this gift card and it was not activated. I have bought gift cards previously and they have worked fine, but this one is not functioning. It seems that Best Buy does not honor the purchase. I am disappointed and lost $25. Won't do this again.

When my son went to use the gift card (which he had to scratch off the code) it said it had already been used. Unfortunately i did not keep the receipt because i never thought to for a gift card, and was told i can't prove that we did not use it and then were trying to return it. Very frustrating

Card did not work. It was never activated! Spent over two hours trying to get a refund from Best Buy.

But to be asked for a review when I've returned a product and haven't even been refunded the money is insulting. I want my money back.

But my daughter loves the game and she asked for them for Valentine's Day and her birthday etc. so what can I do? She likes them and that's what counts

Riot Points are a great way to get more out of League of Legends. If you have a friend or family member that is just getting into the game, these cards are a good way to give them a good start. Even established LoL players appreciate these cards because they will allow them to buy new characters, or a new outfit for one of their favorites. They are also great if you can't buy the points in-game for whatever reason, but still want to support the game.

Amazing Game. If you've ever played Defense of the ancients (WC3 mod) then you have to try this game. If you haven't, The main benefit to giving it an hour of your time is it is free! Huge and dedicated online community, Massive amount of customize and upgrade options, between skins and bonus stats and added characters, this game is for anyone who doesn't want to waste months of their life building 1 character in WOW or TOR, but does want some gaming action. Requires only a decent internet connection and computer, I highly reccomend this game.

I did some research before I bought the card and found a post on the league of legends forums: "$25 card includes 3,250 Riot Points plus a 250 Riot Point Bonus (3,500 Riot Points total)". I bought the collectors package already, and I'm using this card to get some extras.

Basically these are 3500 RP points for League of Legends. I would normally buy it directly from the League of Legends client however sometimes I get Best Buy gift cards from credit card points or as a gift. I decided buying it online is an easy and efficient way to get some "basically free" RP.

Riot Points are used to buy digital items in League of Legends, such as new characters (called "champions"), costumes ("skins"), and XP and IP boosts. These cards are very to use. Just scratch off the silver stuff to reveal the secret code, enter the code into the League of Legends PvP client in the store tab, and you're ready to go. Enjoy!

Very useful for purchasing what's needed in game such as characters and skins.

Just a plain old game card with $25 worth of RP for the game League of Legends. Nothing to complain about the card, but ordering online might be a hassle. I ordered two of these online for in store pickup. When I tried to activate them at home, none of them worked because the workers at Best Buy didn't activate them. Had to return to the store three times to fix this problem.

If you like DOTA (Defense of the Ancients, a Warcraft 3 custom map), then you will most likely love League of Legends. These cards give you Riot Points, which in turn you can use in the In-game store to purchase such things as runes, character skins, or to buy certain heroes. I purchased one of these cards for myself, and one for a friend for Christmas. If you are bored sitting on WoW all day, or the raiding week is too short, this is a great alternative. You can have 5 players on each team, so its great to get some of your guild or clan mates involved! This Riot Point card is only $25 , so it is affordable and worth all the stuff you can get from it. It gives you approximately 5000 Riot Points, which is enough to buy the hero package, which unlocks almost all of the heroes for your enjoyment.
