We purchased this item open box knowing it was missing the antenna and documentation. Fortunately, a little research landed us the antenna for about $6 - at which point we were able to really see how this worked, and the sound quality / range exceeded my expectations (and I'm pretty sure the antenna works better than what would have been provided).

I am happy with the system. Simple to use. Great sounds and great price.

We were looking for a Samsung or Sony product. We wanted 1080, LED, on a stand, a good size and ended up with a 32 inch for our kitchen area. Best Buy was featuring a lot of TV's for sale and this one caught our eye. The clarity and sound are excellent. Very helpful employee as well, answering any and all questions for us.

I love this stereo, great sound and excellent reception on FM. I hooked up a 5 disc CD changer to the Aux input, and I can play CD's all day long now. Very good Bass and Treble response once you set up the music type and the settings for these.

Overall sound, ease of use, and set up were good for this stereo, only problem I had was the CD drawer opened however would not close. I had to exchange it and have yet to try the new one. Overall good product if the CD drawer operates and expected.

This is a good little economic system. We use it for a small store business and it fills up the background music needed in the store nicely. Haven't maxed out speakers on it so I can't speak to how loud it could get for home or other use.

Works great, easy to use for anybody, Bluetooth works great.

Needed a replacement for a desktop system. Did some checking and actually bought another cheaper system that had poorer sound quality only to return it. The Insignia product had all of the features we wanted and the sound quality is very good. We have a Logitech universal remote and adding the NS-SH513 was easy and complete the first time.

Bought this to replace a 15 year old Aiwa unit in my Vermont condo which I use and also rent out. Nice small unit and speakers and they fit well into the built in shelving. Power is nowhere near the 50 watts claimed (more like 10 RMS per channel). Sound is generally pretty good with clean highs, though FM sounds a bit thin compared to CDs and USB flash drive. Speakers are better than I expected for this price range. Good unit for a small room. Just don't expect miracles.

In those ancient teen years 'bad' was slang defining either good or bad because most chats with a friend would begin with "How bad was it?" The radio I listened to back then from outside Rochester, NY could pick up 'Cousin Bruce's' show or NYC stuff but the sound was pretty lame. I continue to be amazed by the technology of today. This unit is no exception. Its inexpensive. It meets my needs - to listen to any of the thousands of CDs I have or radio (FM now..) with fantastic sound quality. Condo life negates the use of a system with 800 watts and I can dial up new stuff from across the room with a remote. So the answer is 'NOT BAD, NOT BAD AT ALL!!!!'

Compact but alot of sound! Very clear and compact!

This unit was to replace a 20+ year old Sony bookshelf unit that stopped ejecting CDs. Don't use CDs as much but this unit has Bluetooth which made it a perfect replacement. This loss of the AM tuner band was a little disappointing but for the price it was hard to beat. And it sounds very good.

I bought this at a Black Friday sale at an incredible deal. Really nice sound. The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is that hooking it up to other Bluetooth devices hasn't worked out yet. I'll call the manufacturer but as a straight up radio, it's very nice. Clear crisps under quality!
