Very good quality for the money, with stylish modern lines and the right size for our space constraints. purchased for my teenage son's bedroom and he has been using it with bluetooth to stream satellite radio from his phone, listen to CDs and local radio stations. Setup is easy, we just skimmed once over the instructions and understood the functions and operations. Sound is very full and clear, better than similar micro/shelf systems we had in the past. It will also go LOUD in a normal size bedroom. so be ware and file it under the "self inflicted wounds" category.... :)

This it's one of the Best compact stereos I've seen! After looking around I selected this model because of all of the features including bluetooth, CD, FM, and great sound quality! As an added plus, Best Buy's great price!! You can't beat it for the money!!

This system works in a area where I have had ttrouble getting reception on the tuner with other systems.

The system was easy to set up and provides everything I need to listen to my favorite local radio station, the playlists off my Ipod and CDs. I am not a sound expert, so I can't talk to that but this system has provided me an inexpensive way to have music on all the time.

I love the BT (blutetooth) feature with this stereo and the CD feature allowing versatility in playing music from different sources.

Easy set up and sound for a small stereo unit. I was looking for something that had an aux input and this fit the bill. Using it mainly as a sound system for an overhead projector in basement family room.

This compact system is just what I've been looking for during the past several months. Easy to set up, excellent sound for a small system, takes up minimal space, and the Bluetooth function is great for playing iTunes music and internet radio station from our laptop. In addition, we have a large collection of CDs, and the sound quality with this Insignia compact system is far better than when playing CDs on our computer, even though we have some very good Boston Acoustic speakers connected to it. The only small problem is that occasionally Bluetooth broadcasts cut out, even though our laptop is situated only 6 feet away. But overall, I would recommend it highly for anyone wanting great sound in a small-to-medium room.

I looked at several systems for my office. This was a great choice- small size good sound, and Bluetooth too.

Bought this compact system for my Lanai (I'm in Florida) to use the Aux input for my TV. Works well except that the buttons on the remote are VERY small and hard to read, especially outside at night.

I like this stereo. It works great. It's a little clunky when moving it around. The volume max's out and I find myself trying to put up the volume but it's still gets decent. For the price it's a very good deal.

We bought it because the CD cover on our older unit (a Sony) was sticking. We got this new one all set up, and discovered the sound quality on the CD was terrible. It sounded fine with my iPod, but we really wanted it for the CDs. We returned it and are learning to live with a sticky CD cover. Our old unit has MUCH better sound.

The stereo works well but much smaller than I expected. I purchased it online and was surprised to see how small the box was when it arrived. If you want a very compact unit, this is for you.

This is a great quality system as long as your expectations are realistic. I use this stereo at my office at work. It fills the room with background music for my entire workday. I use a USB flash drive. The downfall of the USB flash drive option is it plays the music straight down the drive. Meaning, there is no shuffle option on USB music. Shuffle would make this system a 5 star system, but without it, at this price point, it's a 4 star system in my opinion.

The sound is great from the Bluetooth connection. the connection is consistent with no delays anywhere within my house. The system is not too big either so with the size and the sound it is a great deal

This is a wonderful system that can be used to play CDS or an ipod. I am using it for my choir's rehearsals and the volume doesn't quite max out like I'd like for it to. Would make a great home sound system but not so great to use for a choir full of people due to volume.

Works well. Random only seems to work with regular cds. Need the remote for majority of functions beside changing source or radio station.

The Insignia 50W CD compact Shelf System was the perfect gift for my mother. The connection was easy as well as the setup. The remote control is simple and straight forward to operate. A very good buy!
