This stereo works great and sounds great. Lots of different source inputs. Only two complaints: no sub line out, no random feature on USB. The USB playback allows repeat modes but not random mode, so it always starts at the beginning of your song list which gets kind of old.

I was looking to purchase a shelf system, after reading the positive feedback, I decided to get this one, man I was so impressed, great quality sound for a small system. YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!

Its a nice little no frills system. It does what you need. Cd, bluetooth, fm radio. For the price, sound is really impressive

This is a great little stereo. The sound is amazing. I have it in my bedroom and I use it a lot. The price is also excellent. This is the best purchase I made this year.

Purchased this open box, in-store item for $85 for my elderly mother to listen to her favorite CDs. The system is very easy to set up and use... Sound quality is way above average at this price point and very acceptable even for an audiophile like me.

Cd tracks are displayed after :05 seconds then every :10 after that. FM tuner is really fantastic on this unit!j Also CD tracks are easily selected using the remote.

This coming from an audio file...this thing is awesome!! I bought it for my father in-law for his garage on black Friday...and I'm FURIOUS I didn't buy 4 more of these units!! Even at regular price I will buy more of these. The speakers have some weight to them and they're ported in the back! The remote is great and the sound is super clean with some nice tight bass....please don't hesitate to buy one.

This radio was worth the price tag! I was skeptical about spending over $100 on a radio that I only planned on using in the bathroom, but the sound quality impressed me so much that I have absolutely no regrets. Highs mids and lows are outstanding considering the size and the Bluetooth worked great.

All the good reviews are well deserved for this affordable little guy! In addition to sounding so good, it has a sophisticated and understated look so different from the common "space age garish" style of other bookshelf units. It's Bluetooth feature works very well and easily pairs with different smartphones w/o any issues. The only minor nitpick, as noted by others, is the weird placement of the headphone jack on the back of the unit, vs. front. Apart from that, the only other thing I'd like to have would be a digital audio input with a source selection for it. But I'd expect to pay 2 to 3 times as much for another unit with the same quality sound and those few changes. And likely much uglier than this little gem to boot! Way to go Insignia!

Got this yesterday (Opened at 5pm Thanksgiving), an impulse buy. I assumed it was 50 watts a channel, but it's TOTAL power. It doesn't sound too bad, but it COULD be louder. I agree that at MAX volume, it does NOT distort (Even with the Bass and Treble on +10), but while the oomph is there, the loudness isn't. The Bluetooth was my main reason-I have a TON of music on my phone, and I stream with some apps and it really does have a decent sound from the WOOD (!) speaker cabinets. This hits HARD.....But I still don't know if I'll keep it, even though it was $50 off for a total of $69 plus tax. My other gripes are that the CD Player is SLOW to load a Table of Contents-One disc took almost a minute, and there's NO way that I've found to show a track number on the display, just track or disc time. The remote has to be pointed RIGHT at the unit to even work, and the buttons aren't too logical. I do like how I can use the remote to play/pause my music as well as skip tracks (When used with Bluetooth). All in all, if I only needed this for a bedroom, I'd recommend it for the smaller rooms. But used in my living room, it's still a toss up. So I'd recommend it if you only want clarity at max volume, but not if you want to rattle the windows. This little system just can't do that :(

Received today and I'm totally satisfied so far. This little unit is quite impressive. Don't let the size fool you - the sound quality is wonderful. The RCA plug-ins were a plus and enabled me to use my old turntable & cassette player. The speakers are small but powerful with no distortion noted at full volume. Great buy!

This system was easy to set up, connects easily to Bluetooth on our Apple iPhone 5 and iPod. Nice sound. Great for a beginning system.

Bought this for my wife, she has it in the kitchen and uses the Bluetooth on the laptop to stream music. It has really good sound sound for such a small radio. Definitely was worth the price.

We wanted a small radio for the house, to be able to listen to music and use our cds. It works perfectly.

I was really surprised of how well system sounded. If you're looking for a nice compact system that doesn't break the bank this system is for you.

Just purchased this stereo, very happy with it, easy setup, sounds very good with a little tweaking of treble & bass, excellent radio reception with external antenna, and Bluetooth works well. Added about 75 ft. of speaker wire to mount speakers under eave of house. Wife loves it !

It works great. Connects to my Chromebook via Bluetooth. My mother-in-law asked if it was Bose. No one can tell that it's just a base model Insignia because it's meant for small spaces anyway. Sound is good enough for me. Love it.

My old Aiwa stereo died earlier this week after 20 years of use. I decided I wanted a more grown up looking system. I ordered this online and picked it up at the store today. Set up was a snap. I used my own AV cables and powered antenna. I paired it with my iPhone via Bluetooth and was amazed at how good the sound was.

I was very skeptical when I purchased the stereo because the antenna that was not hooked up on the display and I could not hear what it sounded like but I took a chance and it sounds really nice it's got a nice full-size remote not one of those dumb credit card remotes I really like the stereo I would recommend buying it ( i'm too lazy to use periods after my sentences) sorry
