Great service for 60" TV too heavy for 1 person.

They did a very professional job of centering, mounting TV, and securing all of the cabling. They also connected all of my audio equipment and programmed the remote. Excellent job!

order was upgraded to connect plus mounting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.worse experience ever with best buy. Ordered a vizio 55 for $528 plus TV connect and a wall mount. Everything looked good for one week install and delivery. Then the mount showed as 2 weeks out. Online I could not cancel it, so I called bestbuy. They told me they could not cancel the order but would make a notation to not ship it. and that I needed the better geek squad package to connect and mount for 199.00. so I was to get a credit for 99.00 for the connect and they would do a new order for $199.98 for connect plus mounting. All of this is on my charge card now the full $734 of TV TV Connect and the mount that I do not want. Plus $199.98 for full installation. I came to best buy bought a mount off the shelf. Saw how easy it was to install and installed it. I then cancelled the TV Connect plus mounting service.However, the mount I that was not suppose to show up until March 13 is now coming today March 6 and I was charged for it a 2nd time separately just today and it is in the TV bundle with the TV Connect Service that should have been cancelled. To date I have $1,007 in charges on my card for $562 of usable product (that's the TV with taxes) and will have to return the Mount when it shows up to the store and probably for the last time come to a best buy if I do not see $445 come off my charge card.

Great way to set up television

The men who came were very knowledgeable and answered all our questions and made sure we knew how to operate everything before they left

Perfect Installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Chris and Keiwaun arrived on time this morning and installed wall mountings for two TVs. I was extremely pleased with the completed installations and I commend Geek Squad for these two gentlemen. Both were courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Upon completion of the installations, they demonstrated operation of the mounts to my complete satisfaction, cleared the area of debris and made sure I was satisfied with both installations prior to leaving. I would definitely use Geek Squad again in the future.

Excellent Service

They arrived at the appointed time and were very courteous and helpful. They did an excellent job of mounting the tv and then hooked up all of my components, did the setup on all of the systems, and explained to me how everything worked. I was very satisfied with this servive and would definitely use them again.

great customer service

They review how to use my product with me and set everything up and explained to me what they were doing. They also left there card so it I had any issue or questions I could contact them. I normally by my items from the Navy Exchange but this time I wanted to try another electronic store and I am glad I choose best buy. I have a awesome tv at a cheaper price and excellent cutover service.

Waste of money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek Squad did not perform any firmware updates, configure any software nor program the remotes. Additionaly, since I'd already setup the flat screen TV since I received it several days before the mount was delivered and installed. The Geek Squad disconnected the TV from the Roku & Home Theater Receiver during the mounting and were unable to properly reconnect these components afterwards. They actually told me that Home Theater Receiver & speakers would NOT work with the new TV even though it was working properly before their arrival. I spent a number of hours after they left to reconnect everything to where the components would work properly again.

good clean up

Second, when they scheduled date, on time and courtious. Third done in timely manner. Lastly, told me HDMI inputs 1-3 not working. Then left.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ian and John called ahead of time to remind me they were on the way, actually did a quasi-consultation and recommended I get an electrician to install a closer outlet so the aesthestic would be ebtter after the TV was mounted above the fireplace. I did, and they came back a week later to set it up. No extra charges. Definitely worth the money.

Installed and mounted TV above fireplace

They were able to hide the wiring through the wall and cover an unsightly hole in the wall. When things weren't working so well, they stuck with it and got the job done! The end result was extremely professional!

TERRIBLE SERVICE

I did explain to the techs that I didn't know anything about the t.v. set. He gave me a 1-2 minutes explanation? I'm really sure I did purchase the services to have them show me how to set up/work my t.v.??

Excellent geek squad performance
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We were not impressed by our Samsung ultra high definition 4K 65 inch TV until........we had the geek squad out to adjust the settings. We were lucky enough to have George Wilson as our geek squad person and he did a wonderful job explaining the tv to me and making the settings as we had seen it at the store. He is a credit to the Geek Squad! Now the TV is amazing!
