    They did a great job and were very professional about it. Hanging a TV is not something I could do but Geek Squad came in and in a hour had everything up and running.

    Very Disappointing Home Theater Service...

    This was a very disappointing and unsuccessful Video Setup @ $149.99 plus tax by Agent #1 which resulted in a "redo" service call a week later by a far more competent and conscientious Agent #2. Agent #2 was a problem solver...not a problem avoider.

    Have had bad experiences with workmen leaving behind a big mess when done. These gentlemen did a good job and left the place as they found it. All I can ask for.

    They offered a package for the wall mount and the installation for $199, when you break it down it only cost about $70 for the installation. Pretty good deal.

    The first install date they called to confirm they would be there the next day so I took time off of work and nobody showed up. So I rescheduled they called me and sent an email saying they would be there between 8am to 12pm so I took the morning off again and they never showed up untill 4:45 so I missed a whole day waiting. I called to speak with a manager and was told I would hear back within 24hr. It's been a week and I have not heard from anyone! Also I took a few other surveys which asked if I would like to be contacted which I said yes and have also not been contacted. Very disappointed in my first experience with this company!

    Great service from the techs

    The techs who came to the house were great. Ordering the service on-line was a disaster requiring 2 phone calls to Geek Squad, a visit to a Best Buy store and rescheduling the service day.

    With all the new tv, Bluray players etc coming out....getting harder to setup alone. With geek squad help it all get done correctly & without headaches.

    The installer was very helpful. When he was finished mounting the TV he asked me what products I was going to use (ex Roku, I didn't need with the smart TV) and he removed it wrapped up the wires and gave it to me. He cut the excess cable wire and put a new connector on. Very nice non cluttered installation.

    Geek Squad agents called ahead and were right on time. They were very professional and meticulous throughout the process. They explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I was very pleased. BTW due to health problems I was unable to do the hookup myself and they treated me with respect.

    Friendly and courteous. Good skills. Called early the morning of visit; woke me up. Wanted to change scheduled visit time; was adament; I had to refuse, due to have made other plans. Cost of visit was way too expensive given the time that they spent at visit.

    It's difficult to gauge what they will do from the online description. In the end, they didn't do anything I couldn't have done myself.

    First scheduled installation lost in system.

    When I placed my order over the phone, I arranged for installation of the TV. On the day of the scheduled installation, I called to verify delivery of service. (The TV had already arrived.) Finally, on the 3rd call, the agent checked the service schedule and informed me there was no record of my installation. After a tirade from me, the patient agent rescheduled me for the next available appointment, a week later. When that date arrived, the "geeks" were well informed and friendly. They were not too interested in discussing questions about technical issues I had. I thought they were supposed to make sure everything worked with my system. Instead they seemed more interested in what they were having for supper, and when. I still have questions regarding my purchase. Considering I spent over $1000, I'm very disappointed. I cannot recommend Best Buy to anyone.

    The geek squad showed up on time and did an outstanding job. Took the time to show us how the remote worked with the new components and were careful not to damage anything during the course of the installation. Very cordial and helpful.

    was real happy with the geek squad setup for my 65" tv, seemed hurried didn't really show the changes he made to the settings. i wouldn't pay for it again.

    Installing the sound bar was a challenge

    Installing the sound bar was advertised as easy but it was far from it. The GS struggled to get the coordination with the TV right. I compliment the GS for sticking with it until they got it working.

    Best Decision I made with my Home Theater

    Easily the simplest and best decision to use the Geek Squad Team for my home theater installation. They are true professionals. They tested the wall, made recommendations as to height for viewing and provided me with great confidence in placement and the security of their work

    I purchased both this and the basic audio setup for my system. When I called to schedule it, I had already connected my AV system to my TV, run all cables and just wanted to get them to help me program my new remote. They told me that would be and extra $50. I said I didn't need the things I originally requested, just some basic help with the remote. The packages are not customizable! I went ahead and agreed, and scheduled the Geek Squad to come out. Before my scheduled date, I figured out the remote on my own, so I cancelled all services.

    I asked for Geek squad to install my new Samsung 65" HDTV. They never showed up and I still got charged. Not a very pleasant experience. I would like the charges taken off my Best Buy Card.
