    I order an installation and delivery Geek squad at the time of purchase of my TV. Then when the time came for confirmation I was told that extra charges where required for the trip to my home. I was prepared to pay the extra charge after the time of purchase but the manager took 2 hours to approve which he didn't because he left me holding on the phone. I had to find another installer who came to my home for thirty dollars cheaper than the Geek Squad.

    Sound Bar Connection

    I paid $211 for connection of sound bar to TV-Stereo. Guess what, No Can Do with today's electronics. Had tried cable, FireWire, Bluetooth,fiber optic, nothing worked. Geek came, said No Can Do. Thanks & left with me paying the fee. I argued with phone Geeks on fee, no relief whTsoever. PO'd and had to pay.

    I purchased the TV in July 2014. The Geek Squad could not finish the installation. I am waiting for them to call to schedule an appointment with someone who can.

    I hired a service to connect my TV with my home theater system, with my DVD and my satellite TV box. The TV was originally connected by the delivery team with the DVD and the satellite TV box, and they had programmed the TV's remote, so really it was just the home theater and the programming of my Logitech remote. The technician couldn't find a way to have the home theater system to work - despite me telling him to call Bose, which he didn't do (he just followed YouTube videos), and he said that programming the other remote had an additional cost of $ 50... Ridiculous. I paid $ 200 for nothing.

    Never showed up for appt. Disconnected old TV per instructions and service never showed. Vacation day to wait was lost time on phone with numerous best buy representatives. Told they can't call installer but last guy called installer and came back to say nobody would be showing up and the next available appt was a week later. What a horrible experience.

    I ordered it on Saturday, Then found out I do not need it. I stayed on the phone for about 2 hours with no resolution, then a lady said go to the store, I went to the store they could not do anything. except wait until Monday, may be computer has not accepted it. I called Monday a lady tried to transfer me but hung up. It is so frustrating.

    Spent over one hour on the phone and still have not been able to schedule the service. After following the instructions that were sent via email (which did not work), I was routed to the wrong department. Horrible service.

    Even though indicated the size of the TV we needed help setting up, they sent one person. We had to help him. For $150 I would have expected at least a couple people and not have to help at all.

    i would ove to say they did a great job, but they simply never turned up. Waste of time and money. I have just waited for four hours. Do not waste your money on this service.

    I recently purchased a new 55" TV and at the same time purchased the Geek Squad service to straighten out a mess with my home theater system. I had upgraded my DirecTV receiver to HD last month. The technician they sent out made an absolute mess when he unplugged my home theater components and didn't plug them back in correctly, leaving me with only half of my speakers. The Geek Squad delivered my TV yesterday. They then moved my home theater receiver to accommodate the larger TV, reconnected everything and cleared out a bunch of cables I didn't need. They even apologized because the Best Buy technician who originally set up my Yamaha home theater system 9 years ago had used so many cables that some were redundant! They then tested everything to make sure it was working properly. Needless to say, I was relieved and happy with the results. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Best Buy's Geek Squad.

    55 INCH TV SETUP

    When they brought the TV in they noticed the stand on the TV would not work with our TV stand.I felt so bad. They were so helpful going on line to help find me one in about the same price range and manufacture I wanted. I had bought on line but they took it to my local Best Buy to return and got the other TV held for me(Only one left) I went there and paid for it. They then brought it to my house and set it up. I was so impressed. I know we put them behind their schedule but they couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant. The set up went great and the TV is great. Above and beyond customer service. THANKS SO MUCH!!!!
