Tv software lags at times but overall the picture quality is where the money is at!

We love this TV! It takes a little tinkering to get the settings just right, but several websites can help. It's not the brightest picture ever, but it's not bad. We have it in the basement so that's not a problem. Movies look great and 4k content is amazing. It has easy to use connections on the back, and I had no problem mounting it on a tabletop swivel base. The Vizio app menu is ok, but a little slow to respond.

While I am an AV specialist with 5 odd years in Consumer Electronics, I am not in a position to provide specialist level evaluation of color saturation or contrast levels. I have seen many TVs, especially top tier products from LG, Bang & Olufson, Sony and Samsung. Things that I can evaluate include Black uniformity. With 90 zones of blacklighting, the M series provides very good blacks which are uniform and absent light spots. The next important performance characteristic is off axis performance. When C19 goes away, it will be time to sit down around the TV for a football game or new release movie. Off axis color and contrast are quite good. The last performance characteristic that a user can evaluate is motion and once again the 65" M series does not disappoint. Action scenes and sporting events are so well rendered that in those cases where there are motion noise artifacts in the actual recording, you see them clearly. Please note that I do not encourage use of any smoothing or noise modification circuitry in any TV installs. The attendant by products of these "remedies" are worse than what is corrected. This TV performs like a much more expensive model. For those of us who are still listening to stereo, this unit includes analog RCA outputs!!!!. You can hook it up to your old school stereo or high fidelity system and enjoy. So unusual and very nice addition. The remote is a remote. It works and someone will find fault in the layout or button size but personally, I use a programable universal so it is not an issue.

My job requires me to install equipment onto TV for media measurement. With that said, I have seen them all, and at all prices. Simply but, this is one of the best TV's I have ever bought for the price point. If you were to but a fake SONY emblem on it, it would be hard to tell the difference.

The picture on this tv is awesome. Especially for the price. The color is rich the sound is okay.

I compared all the available lower cost quantum televisions and chose this one. I love everything about this set except this brightness. The picture is great especially on 4k content. The brightness isn’t bad, but it’s not quite what I’d like.

Love this picture quality! Has beautiful vivid colors. Able to see great details with the 4k movies.

I got this TV as i have had a great experience with Vizio TV's in the past and this M series came out just new in the market. However, I had to return the TV as I was disappointed with a number of things. Pros - 1. Great screen ( However P series 2018 with a better screen comes for a similar price ) Cons 1. Vizio TV Software to switch between apps is slow 2. Smartcast did not work intermittently 3. Remote dedicated button for amazon prime somehow never launched the app and kept spinning 4. No Youtube App on tv. Always need to smartcast from your phone.

i bought this TV for my mom whose eyesight is failing. The size (65) is perfect for her vision and the color depth has renewed her interest in TV. This TV is light enough for one person to hang on a wall and the placement of the rear connections make them accessible even though there is limited space behind it. I highly recommend this TV (and the price was significantly less that comparable brands).

Pros: TV has a great picture with bright sharp colors. I can view it from any angle in the room without losing picture quality. You can use the TV remote to also control your Amazon Fire Stick. So far there is no cons with the TV. **Note: You will need to change your HDMI cables to 4K if, you are using a receiver that has 4K capability; and, if your internet service provider provides 4K movies and TV shows. **

I am very happy with the tv If you know me I review tvs before purchasing Remember m series model ending in 8 as this is m658 g-1 90 dimming zones not the model ending in 7 12 dimming zones Walmart sells that best buy does not. Great pic, colors are great bought a tabletop tv mount by fitueyes and it swivels all in all a great tv for the money almost bought the p- series 65 inch but am very happy with tv

The image quality is superb. Fort this price range, it's most likely the best quality screen. The built-in smart TV software is slow and lackluster. Add a Roku or other streaming device, and it becomes an excellent TV.

Great pictures right out of the box without having to change anything. Only buy if this is in a darker room. This is not the tv for you if it is in a bright room.

No complaints with this TV. Great picture, great sound, easy to hook up. Definitely recommend.

Great tv, first one was defected but second one is perfect great color worth the price

This review won’t be as detailed as some others. I had to replace a tv that I bought over ten years ago, so practically anything would have been an improvement. I love the picture quality and the fact that the remote control works the Amazon FireTV stick. The speakers aren’t great. Alexa setup was quick. A black screen will look the same as when the tv is off. I like mine. The bezel is super thin.

Great TV. The price was really decent as well. Hdr is too dark on it since the TVs brightness isn't very bright compared to higher end TVs but that's to be expected with a mid range.

Read reviews on rtings which informed our decision to get this over TCL and save money from OLED while getting almost OLED like contrast and crispness. Very nice TV compared to OLED but also other TVs with utilizing quantum dot tech. Color reproduction is great and PS4 gaming has never looked so nice on this HDR 4K TV

Solid TV for the money. This TV is the main TV in my football room and looks better compared to the other 2 lower quality TVs, but if you are able to spend the extra bucks for an OLED TV, the picture is amazing.
