Great TV for the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolutely blown away by the value of this TV. Picture is great, latency is good for games, my only complaint is that the onboard software for the smart tv is pretty bad. But it has built in apple mirroring, and you can always use an AppleTV, Xbox, Roku, or Fire Stick

Meh
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not a bad tv for a person if budgeting $900.00 and under for a decent 4K tv in the 65inch sizing. I have owned about 5 Vizio TVs and never had any issues. The colors are very vibrant and the picture is very clear as well and it’s pretty good. Some cons were I took It back in a week due to a pink line at the bottom of the screen. Later was told It was a defect and panel was bad. Like I was saying for a budget of under $900 after taxes can’t beat It. I have now learned if I drop another $300.00 or so the quality if a different brand will surpass Vizio. So I went with the Sony Bravia 4K that they are selling right now for $999.00 plus taxes so for about $1,080 the tv I bought this time has zero issues and is sooooooo much better than this one. I would definitely spend an extra few hundred of you can stretch It!

Excellent TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading several reviews and doing some research on what TV to purchase for a good price, I chose this one and I am very satisfied. Happy I bought it
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice. Easy set up great picture. A lot of apps to help lower/eliminate cable cost. Bought with the vizio 5.2 sound bar and have had no regrets.ok 1 regret I didn't get an 80 inch, room is too small for that. Otherwise no issues.

Excellent Value
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been incredibly impressed with the overall performance of this TV., especially for the money. I would put it on par in all areas (save for peak brightness) with my Vizio P Quantum X, also an excellent tv at a significantly higher price point.

Great for Home Theater but Problematic as Monitor
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Dolby Vision and Dolby Audio (on my 5.1 surround sound) greatly enhances the movie experience, so well worth the price. As a monitor their are problems like the tv just blacking out and restarting by itself, resetting the picture mode to calibration mode from the computer mode I had on, though it does fix those mentioned problems. However it does limit picture mode option to one (the calibration mode), unless the active full array feature is on whatever picture mode selected. So I have all the features off that I prefer and the active full array feature I have on low, which is no big deal. There is an occasion that is rare and very brief when the tv blacks out, during some multi-media viewing, unlike before it would stay blacked out, regardless of multi-media viewing. Lastly, there are some issues sometimes with lip sync when I watch YouTube videos, my old tv as a monitor did not have any of these problems, this could be because of glitches with new technologies not having yet been squared away. I should mention that my current Vizio is a replacement since the first one was having the same problems out of the box, so I just returned it. After figuring out for myself for the most part on how to fix the problem, I decided to keep my current Vizio since my use of the tv as a monitor is fairly basic, though I use it far more as a monitor than as my home theater, I am still overall satisfied with it. However, I would not recommend this Vizio M Series Quantum M658-G1 to watch movies or play video games through a PC as its monitor.

Beautiful panel ruined by problems
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Writing this because the tv wont turn on right now. I have had issues where the tv turns on by itself in the middle of the night. The solution is to check what's plugged in... I unplugged every device, still had these issues. Reset the tv. Didn't fix it until a firmware update. Now there are times, 2-3 a week where the sound stops for a few seconds and comes back. Sometimes it stops until we restart everything. Other times the tv just wont turn on by remote, I turn it on with the tv buttons and then the remote is working perfectly, not the batteries :). I don't see the problems going away anytime soon. I don't get how a tv this expensive can have more issues that a 5 year old tv that cost 200 bucks. The bummer is I started having these issues at 16 days, nothing bestbuy could do for me. Vizios helpdesk has told me 3 times to factory reset it and cross my fingers and only to call back if the same exact issue happens. Each time it's 1 tiny factor that changes so they have me repeat the steps. I am not sure I'd recommend this tv. The LG's beat out Samsung and Vizio in ease of use and long lasting, trouble free TVs. Crossing my fingers for a firmware update soon.

Can't ask for more at the price!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price there's nothing better! The picture is clear and bright. The sound is good, but I'm using a soundbar from my previous TV... so my experience with the sound is minimal. Remote does the job, but i actually control the TV with my Apple TV remote mostly.

Great TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could not afford a name brand tv so I purchased a Vizio which had great reviews. I was not disappointed. The picture and sound are great. I used to have a regular 55” tv. This time I bought a smart tv at 65”. It has been great! The Vizio was a good buy.

Delivery.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Day 1. Promised delivery in room of choice box set down in homeowner's choice as long as there were no obstacles is the basement steps in obstacle should I have assumed that only one driver could be able to carry a 55 lb box so instead it was placed at the top of the steps if I read the internet description right they never use the basement as an obstacle in any of the rules. The price was good 20% off
