The best part about this TV was it’s beautiful color; however, the picture, even when playing a true 4K movie disc, it looked blocky. The local dimming was delayed. It would change scenes and then adjust brighter or darker. As soon as I turned local dimming off, it went away. The smart system would often delay or freeze, forcing a shutoff and wait period. The colors did pop and looked awesome. If not for the color, it would have gotten a one star. If you’re not someone who gets caught up in features and detail, but you love when the colors pop, then you may like this TV. If you do care, leave it on the shelf at the store.

However, the TV often freezes and needs to be rebooted. The Hulu Live app is terribly laggy. It generally takes a few seconds to scroll to the next show. If you try to scroll too fast, it will lock up. Also, shows are generally quiet and commercials are extremely loud. I recently got rid of Hulu Live and got YouTube TV, and the problem is now even worse. I've spoken to friends with other TVs and they don't have this problem, so I think it's related to this specific Vizio. Overall, the app and sound issues make me wish I bought a different brand.
