Since it was going into a dark media room in the basement the m658 was a better choice. looks great. Haven't used much of the Smartcast since its connected to a HTPC. Input lag is detectable when compared to a regular monitor or a 43" LG that the HTPC used to be connected to. But the 20ms lag isn't a deal breaker.

The remote feels REALLY light. It feels really cheap and easy to break 2. I'm not sure if this is just my TV but the sound goes away whenever you pause/play or when the show ends and a new one starts and takes a while to come back or requires you to mute/unmute the TV. I've tried this with Netflix, HBOgo and live TV. And whenever playback stops and comes. May need a software update

I purchased this tv for my parents and this causes them to use 2 remotes to work the tv. Besides that it is a good tv.

Any questions call VIZIO, great customer service. The TV is absolutely worth it, however.

But it’s also not priced like one. Screen is good. Sound is ok. Assembly is easy. You just plug it in and, bam, it lights up. Pretty cool invention this tv
