Fantastic alternative to a PS4 DualShock but with less compatibility issues on PC. The only thing that threw me off was having to turn OFF PS4 support in Steam to make it work correctly. After that, functions like a dream. I especially love the feel of the D-pad which, in my opinion, is a close modern equivalent of the old Super Nintendo D-Pad. I guess I just got comfortable with SNES as a kid and have wanted an up-to-date replacement for that controller ever since.

I like the controller but it's not as good as a regular pro controller for switch. The software is somewhat confusing and I'm having trouble with the button preprograming.

Comfortable and has good battery life. Definitely a good alternative to an X Box controller. I use this for steam deck.

I really like 8BitDo controllers. The buttons are just clicky enough, directional pad feels great. I have also not experience controller drift with the sticks. I use it to play retro games. If you need a controller, I'd recommend checking them out.

These are the best controllers I have used. Coming from a PS4 to PC and Switch these are great. I have yet to experience any drifting issues (common on Switch). This will be our third one of these this time for my youngest.

When joy cons are just too clunky to use for action-adventure or RPGs, this congroller is a great solution. I had trouble syncing at first, I had to connect the charging cable in order for the switch to detect the controller. Weird…not on the instructions. I don’t use the paddles in the back, and it would just seem strange to use them because its easy to accidentally press down on them.

Very comfortable controller with a great cushion of the Dualshock 4 and the SNES controller. With software you can adjust trigger sensitivity which I highly recommend as these triggers are more sensitive than the Stadia one. I was accidentally firing spells in Hogwarts. Also you can't map the paddles to PC functions, only buttons from the controller. Other than those gripes this has been my main driver. Better than the Switch Pro controller!

Controller feels really nice and is great for an alternative to the Switch Pro Controller. Since the buttons have the Switch marks on them, I don't use it for anything else. If you're looking for something to play Xbox remote play or anything like that, it may not be the best solution. Very good for Switch though and it's a great retro design.
