Got it so I could use my new xbone controller with my desktop, which doesn't have any Bluetooth capabilities. It worked great as soon as I plugged it in, just need to hold the buttons on it and the controller for a sec and they pair right up. I've been using it for about a month now and it's had no issues, I don't notice any input lag at all with my rig. Definitely worth trying if you can't find any official adapters.

Got the 8bit for my switch so i can use my dualsense with my switch. Wanted a pro controller but didn’t want to spend $70 on it, so i spent $20 on the 8bit to use any controller i wanted for my switch. Worth the purchase. Works flawlessly!!

I own the first version of the 8Bitdo dongle and have had my eyes on this one for a little bit now. I honestly love the dongle for various reasons and its uses. First off I want to state that you may need to plug this into a computer or phone and then grab its software for an update, if you decide to use it on the Switch 2. After that its an amazing device that can save you a ton of money and time. If you have a Xbox or PS controller laying around, you can sync them to the dongle and use it on the Switch or Switch 2. Then if you are like me and play PC games you can simply remove the dongle and plug it into your PC, instead of having to resync yoyr controller to you PC's bluetooth. The great thing about this dongle is that the Elite Series 2 controllers can be synced up to it.

This is a very cheap and reliable way of adding PC support for your console controller of choice. You could always pair throigh standard bluetooth for most devices but having a dedicated channel for your controllers that isnt shared with other devices is nice. Unlike the Official Microsoft adapter this is easier to find and doesnt rely on you spending a lot of money on a controller and dongle bundle.

This little dongle is absolute magic. Plug it in, pair a controller, and suddenly everything just… works. I’m using it for PC gaming, and it connected instantly with zero drama—no drivers, no weird settings, no troubleshooting rabbit holes. Best adapter I've ever used. I have experienced 0 latency. Support many different console controllers. Delivery was quick. And instructions were clear enough for anyone to set up the drivers.

[Employee of bestbuy] I specifically bought this for using macros. It mentions it supports it but nobody talks about it in reviews nor online. I was looking for repetitive loops of Input but from what I found on the Ultimate Software, there is no repetitive loop of input. The way it runs a macro is by activating it through a button of your choosing but it runs once. I also didn't find the software that intuitive for making macros, I struggled a bit and it didn't feel like a smooth experience. I just ended up buying the Ultimate 2 Controller which supports the Ultimate 2 Software and it has looping input and creating macros is a lot more intuitive. I'd recommend just buying one of the controllers the supports the Ultimate 2 Software if you're looking for macros. Most people buy this to connect different controllers to different platforms and that worked fine, although it felt very foreign to me using an xbox controller playing a switch game.

I was having trouble with the bluetooth connection on my motherboard. If I would get a few feet away from the PC it would try to reconnect multiple times. I would get about 2 minutes of gameplay and it would have issues. After purchasing the adapter I can now sit away from my pc and use my bluetooth controller correctly. I used this for a Xbox series X controller. It works amazingly. It says compatibility includes using on Nintendo Switch with it docked. I havent used this feature yet, but purchased a second one to try.

It's easy to connect and hook up with both switch consoles. It does not require an external battery, and does not heat up after continuous use and long play sessions. The build quality is superb for the price, and I really recommend it for both Nintendo Switches.

What this device does really is incredible! Playing all of my Switch games with a Dual Sense Edge (my favorite controller) is amazing! Using a docked Switch OLED. But I do have to mess with it every few days. Unplug reset my controller, stuff like that. So if you plan on using this, make sure you can still access the device.

I updated the firmware, which took about two minutes total via my macbook. I plugged it into my system (Evercade VS, an android based video game console), followed the online instructions, and paired a PS4 controller. Boom, PS4 controller on my not-a-PS4 console. Should have done this before buying a crummy wireless 3rd party controller. Much cheaper to use a controller I already had with this dongle.
