I bought this to use my Xbox one controller on my pc desktop that doesn’t have Bluetooth. I was aggravated at first because I could get it to pair to my controller but wouldn’t work to any of my games. With some research I found that it needed a firmware update. Once I went to 8BitDo’s website under support I found the most recent updated firmware and installed it. Works great after doing this. It it would have worked perfectly out of the box I would have given it 5 stars but with a firmware update it does work great.

This device is wonderful and works with diffrent controllers. I am able to use xbox controllers on my nintendo switch and playstation controllers on my pc. The software can be updated and its slick look make it ideal to carry around anywhere, definately a super mario feel with this one. the bad? it glitches, it disconnects, connecting can be a headache for some. Youre much better off with remapping software but if you dont like hassle and value easy setup, this is def the product for you

I use this on my PC with a Switch Pro Controller. Fairly easy to set up and use, but maybe watch a couple YouTube tutorials, as setup for some controllers can require additional configuration (example: PS3 controller) This dongle makes the PC think a wired Xbox controller is connected. Syncs seamlessly, but again maybe watch a couple tutorials first.

The adapter plugs into one of the usb ports through the nintendo switch dock and let's you connect non nintendo controllers as pro controllers to play on the switch. I use it to connect my dualshock 4 and it works very smoothly and there is little to no input lag from what I noticed. The gyro also works on the dualshock 4 though I don't know about other controllers from other companies. I'd say this is a great buy if you don't want to spend the money on a brand new controller and just want to use a controller you already have to work on the switch.

I like using this because on my raspberry pi, it puts every controller into Xbox 360 mode which makes everything easier

Ive used this on my laptop and pc. Ive set it up with a switch pro controller, a ps4 controller, and an 8-bitdo classic controller. Very seamless. For some reason with the PC I have to reset it every time I turn it on, but its fast so kindve a nitpick. for the price I wont complain,

I needed a pro controller but didn’t want to spend the money. So I decided to use my PS4 controller on my switch and it works so good.

I ordered 4 of these to connect Dualshock 4 controllers to the switch. I used a non-powered 4 hub USB switch; try to get one that has the USB slots aligned vertically and not horizontally, because these 8bitdo adapters are so wide that you may only be able to fit two of these on a 4 slot switch that has the horizontal configuration. Anyways, pair one at a time, and you should have no problem. There is no noticeable input lag from what I can tell. Overall, this is truly a fantastic product, especially if you already have some spare controllers, and don't want to fork out $70-$80 for an official Switch controller.

Works great to connect my PS4 controller to use on the Switch. Only complaint is that I wish the body wasn’t as wide as it interferes with the other USB ports on the dock. Will need a USB hub to connect more than one adapter.

The price is a little high, but this device auto connects your controller to your computer, and i didn't actually have to open settings to connect, it is really simple to use and i have yet to experience any input lag. The price in my opinion is a little high, but still a great device.

The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars was because getting my Switch to recognize my xbox1 controller using the 8BitDo as a intermediate was tough at first. It seemed that while I followed the instructions (which are sparse in the box, but available from the 8BitDo website in the form of a full manual) the connection was hard to establish. Once established though, it has never dropped once, given me any sort of connection issue. The adapter works well and has allowed me to use a controller I already own as a pro controller for the Switch which is great! The only other caveat I have is that I haven't figured out how to turn on my Switch from the xbox1 controller. This is not referenced in the manual, but maybe there's a solution out there that I haven't found yet. Will update if I find anything.

This little device is one of the best things I've found tbh. I just bought a projector and animal crossing but I hated the switch controller and didn't want to buy the pro controller because it was $70. When this came in the instructions were straightforward and after 5 mins, I got my ps4 controller to pair with my switch and play. Now I take it with me when I'm playing on someone's pc or switch or whatever device that enables usb driver connection.

I bought a pair of these, so my wife and I could play some multiplayer games on her PC. There was a software update I had to do manually, after that it works amazing everytime. No lag, the devices are remembered individually, even if I switch mine over to my laptop.

This device is really useful in connecting a PS4 or xbox cpntroller to your nintendo switch! I find the stock joycons very uncomfortable because of their smal size and my lack of familiarity with that type of controller. This device allows me to connect almost all types of controllers to the switch!

I'm really used to playing FPS games on my PS4 and just couldn't get my groove in with the joycons. I also didn't want to shell out $70 for a Pro controller since the analog sticks are roughly in the same spot as the joycons. So, for me, paying $20 to be able to use my PS4 controller is a steal! Works flawlessly although I had trouble pairing at first because the instructions forgot to mention you have to hold down the "share" and "ps" buttons. Aside from that, perfect!

Works great for what I bought it for, which was to connect controllers to my Raspberry Pi, it was easy to connect the controllers. The only drawback is that you can only connect one controller to this device. It may have been stated somewhere and I didn't see it that being said it does what it supposed to do.
