Works as described. I'm using it with a 8bitDo controller and Xbox One controller. Do upgrade the firmware on this device and the Xbox one controller. After that it's smooth sailing. Happy gaming!

Set-up is super simple. PS4 pairs as player 1 at start up, Nintendo Switch, but after restart, pairs as player 3, Xbox 360. Not sure if there is a work around for that or not. Once paired, it works great.

I got this to use my pro controller on the PC. It would connect but it wasn't registering all the buttons I was pressing. I was going to return this but it works for PS4 and Xbox controllers on my Switch, so I decided to keep it and try again later to use my pro controller on the PC. It's pretty cool I can use another controller on the Switch with this and don't have to buy another pro controller.

I was excited when I stumbled across this adapter. At the time I was considering purchasing a pro-controller but was stalling due to the price tag on them. Came across this during my search and saw that it could be paired with a DS4. As I already have 2 DS4 controllers I figured this was a cheaper alternative and decided to give it a shot. I was happy to find the reviews did not steer me wrong. Caught it on sale last year and haven’t had any problems. It was super easy to pair with my DS4 and saved me some cash.

This adapter is easy to set up and connects right to the ps4 controllers I have. It even acts like an extra pro controller for my switch.

I cannot imagine an easier way to wirelessly connect so many different controller types to so many different platforms. I absolutely love this adapter and for just $20 its outstanding.

It's a great device. Although, it would not pair with my newer Xbox series x controller, it did work with an older Xbox one controller. I'm not sure why the series controllers don't work. Other than that, I'm quite satisfied with it. If you have extra controllers lying around, to me it's not worth buying pro controllers.

You not only can have but **one** controller synced to it at a time, no more than that without unsynchronizing the other, it also doesn't actually show up as the contoller in question in Windows. The entire point of a Bluetooth adapter is to sync more than one thing at a time. Especially things like controllers, so that's a letdown for sure. It's also a letdown that in any program that requires Xinput, it will work except with like a year of input lag. The initial reason I bought this was of course to use my JoyCons, and Switch Pro Controller on CEMU (a Wii U emulator) to play Breath of the Wild with gyro controls, among other things. Currently I'm in a situation where not only does it NOT pass through gyro, it doesn't even show up properly so I can't even use them the way I wanted to. But despite all that, it is plug and play. so if you have no intention of using gyro for anything, and only want to sync one controller like a DS4 or something, it's a solid option for the price. But, to be honest, go with a real Bluetooth adapter instead. Then your device will actually register as its self and not whatever this dongle tells it to be.

I already own a Wii U Pro controller so very reluctant to spend another $69 on a Switch Pro controller. Buy buying this adapter for $10 (after a $10 Best Buy Reward cert) I'm able to save more than $50. The Wii U Pro controller works great with the Switch and for supported games I can even use the Wii U remote plus and nunchuk. All in all a great deal. I have tested this on a PC and it does also allow the Wii U pro controller to work. So far no issues encountered.

This is a great accessory to have. I have big hands and the joy con's are not made for me. With this piece I was able to connect my ps4 controller to play smash bros.

Plug and play design it's simple and very well designed. I think the only thing that could improve it would be a slightly more compact design. It sticks out a little bit too much on the switch in particular. Otherwise this is minimal and is something easy to deal with. Love it otherwise.

Read on a forum somewhere this device could be used to connect an Xbox One controller wirelessly to a Tesla Model 3 to play the games on the Entertainment tab while parked. Well, it’s true - it actually does work. Purchased this device (on sale, thank you) at BestBuy, got a white Xbox One controller from GameStop for $5, plugged the 8BitDo into the right front USB port in the Model 3 and paired them together. Worked perfectly and helped me kill time while my wife shopped at Kohl’s. The fact the device is updatable through my PC is a bonus. Who knows what additional features will be available in the future?

I bought this this week and it works great. I needed a second controller for switch because using the tiny controllers for 2-player gaming proved to be a little too janky. But I didn't want to spend upwards of $80 to get a second proper controller. I already have some Xbox and PS4 controllers, so this was a great $20 solution to my 2-player problem. The device was easy to set up, and worked great. The PS4 controller worked great on the switch, but the switch obviously doesn't/can't monitor the PS4 controller's battery status, so when it runs out, it just stops working without warning.

My son could connect his PS4 controller to the switch, but the buttons are preset as Switch buttons and don't do the same things they do on the PS4. Some games work fine, others there is a learning curve to. Connectivity is good 95% of the time. Mostly the initial connect each time doesn't always go smooth, but it does stay connected once he gets going.
