I play PC on my TV in another room via Nvidia Shield TV. When the Elite Series 2 Xbox controller came out, the Shield did not support the paddles on the bottom of the controller. Thankfully, I was able to get this adapter and pair it to my controller for near flawless use of the new controller.

It works 100% like it states, but after a Firmware Update that you can find and complete easily on their website. Other than that I'm very pleased that I can use My Wii U Pro Controller that I prefer over the Switch Pro Controller.

I purchased this adapter to use my Xbox one controller wire-free with my PC. I ended up returning it for two reasons: 1. My PC never would recognize the device as a controller instead of just the USB. 2. Since it connects via Bluetooth, sound cannot be played through a headset plugged into the Xbox controller (which is also something I needed to be able to do). A great idea and tool for what it is capable of doing, it just didn't fit my particular needs.

No instructions on how to sync controller was included. Googled steps and it connected. Currently using a PS4 controller for the switch and it has been great so far.

A very useful item, especially for use with PC gaming. You may easily use any Bluetooth controller you want which is painlessly auto configured to work just like a Xbox controller. Be it a wii a PlayStation 3/4 or any other controller you have lying around.

Nice option for using your PS4 controller on the Switch. Works pretty well though I’ve had to repair the controller a few times before playing.

works quite well mostly on nintendo switch, if you have ps4 or xbox controller lying around, and you cant get a switch pro controller, this adapter is a solution.

Works really well once connected. Does take a lot of time initially to do it but using a ps controller on switch is so worth it

I bought thinking it was a wifi booster in the form of a usb stick. but idk what its actually for or how to use it because the box i got it in had the least amount of details about the product it had contained inside it, that I'm surprised this thing even got a patient and or pending one. The light on it blinks; Steady blink, Fast Syncing blink. BUT SYNCING TO WHAT AND WHAT IS IT AND ALSO WHY DOES IT EXIST. It does indeed blink though.

I had a difficult time getting my Xbox controller to sync, only to realize the controller needed to be updated. After that, the 8bitdo receiver was good to go. Easy recommendation for anybody looking to use their favorite controller, at the expense of the motion control

I purchased two so I could use my PS4 controllers on my Nintendo Switch. It paired immediately and works great! Only drawbacks are that it is too wide to use the second USB port on my switch dock without using a usb extender that is thin enough, also every once and a great while the controller will stop responding for a few seconds and then turn off, and lastly the Nintendo switch doesn’t notify you when the controller has a low battery. Other than that I feel it was a far better investment than buying a new joy-con or pro switch controller, especially since I don’t have to worry about controller drift with my PS4 controller.

My son plays on his switch but wants to use a PS4 controller like his big brother plays with even though he has a switch pro controller. This works seamlessly and maintains a great connection. Plus price can’t be beat.

This little dongle seamlessly enabled my previously unsupported WiiU Pro Controller with full functionality (rumble and all)! It also will allow XBox One S, PS4, Wiimotes, and most PC controllers to use on the Nintendo Switch
