The quality of the color, detail and overall picture is very good. This is the story of growing up and managing your fears. It is not a happy picture but if you like dramas this is a good one. I guess I really don't see the point in visiting the past or present depending on your point of view. It is life, just get on with living.

After reading the review on the movie case, I was captivated. However, the movie was very dark and did not reflect what was written on the case. Instead, the young boy suffered from abandonment, gang abuse, loss of both parents (death and abandonment) emotional trauma and was provided with no mature adult guidance from his father, the monster, mother or grandmother. His mother and father demonstrated some love and his grandmother was ultimate support. Ulti he was taught that the world is full of grief and eternity is spent lost. How sad!

This was not the movie I thought it would be. This has some heavy things going on, we bought it thinking it was a kid movie.
