I can definitely understand the hype behind this movie now that I've seen it! This is absolutely a modern science fiction/suspense classic. I wouldn't even call it a horror film because the terror doesn't really stem from the monsters but rather from the unbearable tension that John Krasinski unfurls throughout the runtime. To give any specifics would be to rob first-time viewers of experiencing the dread and suspense this movie presents in the seemingly most mundane objects. While the 4K video transfer is stellar, the real standout is the Dolby Atmos track. It seems strange to say this about a movie where survival means absolute silence, but the sound design in this movie is one of the most effective and creative ones I've heard in a long time.

I really loved this movie before I even saw it just bc of the concept and desire to use a deaf actor for the role, actual movie was awesome

This movie is a cinematic masterpiece. Great to see at home now as well. I saw it at the store and immediately wanted to get it.

This is my top film of 2018. A great experiment in telling a story through sound (or lack of sound). Strong family representation as well.

Just when you think you know all the horror plots and trends, up comes this one. Suspense from start to finish. Definitely enjoyed it.

I bought this as a blind purchase, only hearing about it from friends. I was definitely impressed with the acting especially and the story was pretty decent. I would recommend this if you're looking for a movie to watch on a night in.

A Quiet Place in a steelbook case, which both look nice and are more sturdy than standard blu-ray/dvd cases, for a decent price!

A quiet place is a great movie watch with your wife or girlfriend. This movie will definitely have her jump in and grab and on to you the whole way through the movie. I love the connection time me and my wife had watching it.
