    I paid for the installation of the AV Receiver/Processor Setup, since, I was informed that my present Sony Receiver would function as the "Sound Bar"? No such luck!

    Has not gone well with the actuslly set up of the A/V devise to operate easily. Repeated request for a follow up visit fir assistance havecbeen mishandled. Communications between setting the follow up visit between the store personnel setting the appointment and reason for the appointment are not getting properly relayed to the in house service team. Not happy with this part of the intsallation and use of the new Denon A/V receiver. The ball has been dropped at the goal line!

    I placed an order to have an surround sound speakers, sub-woofer,and receiver, to be installed and connected to the television from the geek squad located on, Eldorado Pkwy. In Frisco. I am not happy with the installation. Several issues with the installation and requires me to use 3 separate remotes, for the television, surround sound, and DVD player. I was told that i would need to purchase a logitech remote to synchronize all 3, but would have to pay another service charge to have them synchronized. I hate to leave a negative review since the the technician was very polite and worked hard to complete the installation. Now i am going to have to live, with this situation.

    Geek Squad subcontracting leads to failure

    Install not completed. I bought everything Magnolia people recommended. Geek Squad subcontracted install to a 3rd party who then subcontracted to a 4th party. Install crew didn’t have enough cable to run speakers and wouldn’t offer additional for sale as they had none on the truck. Contacted customer service and explained everything… They scheduled a 2nd trip. Installers showed up without any wire and couldn’t complete once again. I then visited local Best Buy and bought extra wire and explained what had happened. They sent to Geek Squad. It’s been 4 weeks and zero contact from Geek Squad.

    Geek Squad installer was not able to install the tv because the mounting bracket would not fit the tv. He will have setup a another appointment to complete the job. The new appointment is on 12/14/2021 at 1-7pm.

    TV mounting was OK, but connection to equipment was poor. Geeks willy- nilly pulled cables that should not have been pulled resulting in my equipment not working properly and eventually led to Damage to my system. I'm still in the process of trying to figure out system operations since Geeks reconfigured it. Quite disappointed and now need to replace equipment, hopefully at Best Buy / Geek Squad expense. Still assessing additional operation of my equipment to ensure I can work it OK... Please contact me to get an update on problems created by Geeks.

    Cables a mess. Set up was a joke, the installer knew nothing about about my avr set up. He literally said we will find out together. Again, left a mess. Best buys scope of work includes cleaning up the wires. But i am left clueless and with wires everywhere. Specified i need dirac live run. But installer had no clue what it it is Made his own adjustments and left. No help with using the new system

    It took three times for them to hook it up so I could use it and it's still not right. They did not explain what they were doing so I could use it in the future. I think they meant good but maybe didn't know the product thoroughly .

    The agents were not experienced with my Pioneer SC75 which I bought at Best Buy. Nor with my SVS surround and subwoofers I bought from Best Buy. They were nice people but not sure they really optimized my settings as had hoped

    Not sure why but takes 2-3 weeks to obtain an appointment. Flyer says 24/7 365 days of support but that is not the case. Generally, when you call for service, the call is answered overseas and the y do not really understand the English language. Several times wrong tech shows up. Most techs are general knowledgeable but if you have a real problem, support is dicey. I only use the Geek Squad as alternate choices are very limited.

    Agents installed my TV and connected it to all my devices. Wish they hid the wires as easy access to hollow wall with no studs between back of TV and electronic stack of components. Will have to do it myself...
