    Laptop service work

    We had my laptop in for cleaning any virus and slow speed issues we were having. The virus issues were cleared but unfortunately the slow processing speed did not improve.

    Gavin and his partner were clueless about setting up my Yamaha receiver. They may have oversold me a receiver that was more than I needed. Also told me the price should one down before the price match period is over. Did not happpen yet

    Product was refused because we paid ~$350 for install another, $110 for remote set up. Then they arrive and wanted additional $250 to put power cord behind wall then refused to do work as its exterior wall. Fyi geek squad had installed 3 tvs including one we were replacing and this "extra charge" happened each time. So for over $600 in install charges they refused to complete install and redo what geek squad had done previously. Only feel sorry for sales person who was just a super guy and lost his commission.

    Agents have been nice but your processes are a mess, confusing and not well understood. I recently bought 5 smart TVs and 2 receivers and my 77 in 4D Smart TV ($3000) stopped working (will not power on) after only 5 months in service. I was told by your Tech Agent that based on the diagnostic work by Geek Squad would have to go to the store to receive a refund or exchange TVs. I went to the store and was told Tech Agent Would have to issue credit report 1st before they would exchange. Called Techs back again (different Tech) and have now been told can not replace until they try and replace parts. Now have to wait until Jan 10tg for another Tech to come out and replace parts. If that doesn’t fix it I’ve waited 3 weeks w no TV. I will have to look for alternative TV supplier and Tech Support if this doesn’t work. I’ve been a BestBuy Customer for over 20 years. Very disappointing.

    Tech came out assess the problem. Said I would be hearing from BB because it was out of his scope. It’s July 28th and I still haven’t heard from BB.

    Inexperienced Techs

    The agents watched YouTube videos to try and figure out how to operate and make my Home Audio Receiver work. They were unsuccessful in achieving that goal. I could have watched YouTube myself instead of paying $145!!!!!! Total rip off I never got refunded or pro rated for a cheaper charge.

    Techs not able to connect tv to surround sound. All they did was review YouTube videos. They said they were not able to connect and I should contact Brst Buy for refund. Called Best Buy and they said they would escalate. Still waiting…

    Initial setup of Apple TV seems to work great until the next day when I got no signal. They rescheduled to come and fix in 2 weeks and then no showed! Customer service on the phone was zero help, they said they could reschedule again. 2 more weeks!! One month with no tv during football playoffs!! I’m going to dispute the charge with Visa

    I recommended a optical connection which I purchased, but three agents could not get my Boston surround speakers in the wall to work. They only connected my TV thru my receiver. Disappointing. The agent did tell me to make a new appointment which would require a double agent. No one followed up to date.

    First I was sold the wrong receiver. I returned it, The receiver I need is a Yamaha, Best Buy has been out of stock for months . I instead purchased a Denton. I had to wait almost 2 weeks for install and instead of sending Tech installer then send appliance repairmen! Now e have to wait another ten days!!!
