I Remember a time when Geek Squad was the Gold standard. Not anymore. The set-ups recently, had to input settings, do prep work and explain how a system works because I actually read the manual. Most are very polite and willing to accommodate AFTERWARDS. If I pay for a service/install, I expect to continue entertaining friends while you work. Not stop what I'm doing to show you something you missed. The average customer wont know what to look for unless they are an enthusiasts of the product they buy.

Hello
I’m writing to express my disappointment with the recent service experience at my home on Tuesday January 21, 2025. Unfortunately, the technician who arrived was unprepared and unwilling to complete the job effectively.
• Upon arrival, he made excuses about tasks he couldn’t perform and claimed he couldn’t touch the camera, despite being reminded that his visit wasn’t related to the camera.
• When asked, he seemed unaware of the purpose of his visit or what needed to be done.
• He struggled to perform basic tasks like turning on the receiver and connecting it to the speakers.
• He was unwilling to work unless my wife was sitting in the room with him, which felt unprofessional and unproductive.
Overall, this experience fell far below the standard I’ve come to expect from Best Buy. The technician displayed no concern for whether we were satisfied with the service, and we’re now unable to operate our remote.
I hope this feedback helps prevent similar experiences in the future. Please let me know how this matter will be addressed. We paid for this service.
