It can’t be played single player
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You must have two players to play this game. There is not single player campaign. However, it’s free to play for two people without needing xbox subscription.

Nice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an ok game different the only draw back is the requirement of having one of your friends play with you or the is useless there isnt a lobby to have people join your game

It’s alright
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not too spectacular. Requires multiple players to be playing so you can never just play a solo player mode.

Too much shooter
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Game should be more open world and/or survival. Towards the end of the game it turns into a shooter

Game made for two players
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is made for two players to play. I purchased the game thinking that I could play with someone online but, I have not found any feature that allows for online gameplay. It seems that it’s for local gameplay. Don’t buy this unless you have someone to play this game with at home or with a companion game.

terrible
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i was unaware that this game did not have online matchmaking. None of my friends want to play this game and i really wanted to play this game and after i bought it downloaded it and couldnt get to play i am extremely disappointed. They could've just had it as one player and another as the computer playing the other character. Im sure they game is fun but that is highly disappointing

4/10
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's ok not replayable in my opinion. The joiner online cannot earn achievements like the games owner.

Dumb.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is dumb. We got it for the co-op mode but lost interest 5 minutes in. Don't waste your money.

2018 GOTY Contender
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Way Out is by far one of the most innovative and compelling games I've ever played. It has a playing style akin to that of Uncharted and The Last of Us (there's even a minute where the gameplay resembles Streets of Rage), but with dialog options that can turn the tide of the game at the end. My friend and I stayed glued throughout the entire story. It's not very long (approx 7 hrs of gameplay), but the unique split screen to one screen variations based on cutscenes and specific story points keep you wanting more. Also, A Way Out has one heck of a plot twist. It's definitely a 2018 GOTY contender and for 30 bucks, is an excellent value for not one, but two people to be able to play. 5 stars, easy.

Great for Co-Op
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game may turn off many for the fact that is Co-op only. But for me and my friends we have been looking for a great couch Co-Op game, this is a welcomed feature. It should also be noted because of this, the game is designed to work over the internet with only one of the players owning the game. A way out has a great story that helps pull you into your characters and how the interact with the world. The many scenarios you play allow for different problem solving which adds to multiple playthroughs. Would recommend for those looking for a great co-op experience.

Reminds me of a great fox show
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has that feel of that old show on fox "Prison Break". What a great show and this game kind of gives that feeling. Me and my brother have been playing this game on and off together and we love it. You'll be playing and sure enough five hours have gone by because you get so sucked into the game. Lots of fun, just remember it is a co-op only game. This is the reason I bought this because i feel this game is very "old school" as co-op games have seemed to vanish over the years which is a shame.

Honest review.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have no idea how this has so many high reviews. I must have missed something major. Because this was the dullest game i have ever played. I was upset at the end when i beat it in 2 hours and realized i wasted my time and money on such a boring game. Bring back couch co op. But not this.
