It's a brick, and it charges but nintendo can we avoid using bricks that take up 3 slots on the power strip? it's annoying. I'd go with the best buy brand.

I ordered this a week ago and for whatever reason best buy decided to ahip it theough doordash. I check the tracking every day and they keep pushing the delivery back to the bext day. Now it saying it wouldnt get delivered till the 19 its been 11 days waiting for this

I don't know if it may just be my switch or not but this is the third time I have bought this charger in hopes it would work, unfortunately all the times I've bought it they never manage to charge it. I plug it into my switch and nothing happens, I have checked to see if my outlet was the problem but it turned out it was just the charger because other chargers different from this one have seemed to work successfully.

I ordered a used product that said excellent condition. The product I received was in very poor condition because the USB C charge port was damaged and looked like it was chewed, and the charger didn't work a few of the times I tested it when plugging it into my Switch console. I returned the item immediately.

This was the greatest AC adapter I’ve ever seen the technology and the craftsmanship is amazing. It makes my console charge extremely fast and is super reliable.

It's always a good idea to have more than one AC adapter for your switch and it's accessories. You can charge your pro controller with this as well as the console and travel stand and charger. It's a bit pricey for an extra wall adapter, but I have had no issues with it. After reading reviews of other non-Nintendo branded AC adapters detailing the problems with those, I decided to err on the side of caution and get the OEM adapter. Better safe than sorry!

Don't mess around with off brands. They may be cheaper but it could shorten the lifespan or straight out brick your switch. I wouldn't mess around with it. Just get this official wall charger once and be done with it. It will last the entire life of your switch. I just wanted a couple of spares to bring around with me.

Always buy from Nintendo. If you want to make sure your switch is well charged this is the one you need to buy. Unfortunately official Nintendo items are best for Nintendo products. You made a big investment in your Nintendo switch why buy some cheap knock off generic charger? Pay the extra and make sure you are safe.

Lost my cord years ago after I got my switch, decided to buy another to get back into gaming. This works perfect and I couldn’t be more grateful for this purchase. I can finally enjoy my games again.
