I recommend getting the official Nintendo brand AC adapter for your Switch, especially if you plan to use it with the docking station. The docking station is very picky about the power source and won't work with most other adapters. It's a bit expensive for what it is, but it'll give you the fastest possible charging times.

People complain about the price but I've done my research and this one is the best for your Nintendo. There is PD (power delivery) tech that allows the switch to charge much faster than a standard USB-C cable connected with a USB jack. Even jacks that support 5V at 3amps can't charge as fast that this. Save yourself the headache and get this charger. The only downside is the length of the cable, but an extension cable will solve that.

This is great for charging on the go or when not docked. I picked this up to add to my backpack so that I can charge the switch while on vacation or traveling around. It goes in with all of my other travel charges that I use for vacations and such. But I do find myself even using it at home when needed to get a quick charge instead of docking the switch device and not playing on the big screen. Would highly recommend with the purchase of any switch device.

It's always a good idea to have more than one AC adapter for your switch and it's accessories. You can charge your pro controller with this as well as the console and travel stand and charger. It's a bit pricey for an extra wall adapter, but I have had no issues with it. After reading reviews of other non-Nintendo branded AC adapters detailing the problems with those, I decided to err on the side of caution and get the OEM adapter. Better safe than sorry!

Lost my original charger for the switch and was able to buy this. Unfortunately there isn't much available in most electronic stores, so I'm glad I was lucky enough to get this. Thankfully it works just like the original switch charger.

I bought this for trips because initially I forgot to pack the one that came with the switch, but now that I have it I see the benefit of not having to unplug the switch every time we go for a trip. This charger is always ready to go on trips, and I will never need to worry about not having a charger again.

When it comes to things like consoles, I generally prefer using the originally supplied AC adapter. They will always work, charge the device as quickly as possible without damaging anything. So it's great to have an additional OEM AC adapter on hand. I take it with me whenever I travel. I do wish the brick was smaller but if that's the size it needs to be to provide enough power to charge while playing, I'm good with it.

Plug standard for nintendo switch and works well enough

I got this as a second plug to charge my nintendo Switch while I'm at work so I can play during my commute. It is a bit heavy for a charge cord but extremely well made and doesn't break after many uses. The switch only comes with the dock and the cord to charge through it so it is good to have a second way to charge around if you plan on using it more as a portable gaming system. So far so good. Worth the cost.

It's not as small as some cell phone wall chargers but not too big. It's too wide to fit inside some of the switch carrying cases. It's smaller then a post it note. I found this original charger can charge the battery up while playing a game like zelda at the same time. Some 3rd party ones cannot. An extra is useful for portability so you don't have to unplug your original one from the dock.

A must have for those playing off the dock or on the go. Charges the switch quickly and safely. Heats up a bit after being plugged in for a long time, just remember to unplug when not in use!

This is a great choice for people who own a Switch. I use it as a second cradle plug. You can leave the main Switch plug in place and use this second plug in a travel kit or at a second TV. You may also want to get a cheap HDMI cable so you can leave everything alone at the primary place you play your Switch.

It works really well with my Nintendo Dock since I was missing the adapter for it. It's also very sturdy since I wrap it into my bag often.

This charger is made by Nintendo and exactly like the one that came with the Switch. I bought it so I didn't have to disconnect my original charger when we take the Switch on road trips. I actually travel with it in the box because it packs nice and compact. Because this is the original charger, it can be used with a dock when connected to a TV also.

I purchased this because I thought I had lost the original cord. I found the first cord much later so I just kept this one. It wasn’t expensive

Because Nintendo switch is portable, this is a must have for every switch owners. Portable chargers is also a must but this will come in handy if you have access to wall outlets. Oh yes! grab this one now if you don't have an extra charger yet. You won't regret it! The stock charger that comes with the switch is plugged into the dock so it will stay there forever.
