great charger- charges the device quickly and is a great length.

Mainly bought for using the original dock hooked to second TV. Portable nature of the Switch encourages you to play the game wherever you happen to be. But the expensive second dock set makes it hard to connect the Switch if you have multiple TVs in the house. I bought this so I can easily move the dock to multiple TVs in my house and not bother with hassle of unplugging power, HDMI, etc., every time i moved the dock - just keep every cable/wire plugged in and un-hook the dock if i want to game in another room.

The best thing about the Switch is being able to take it on the road. Buying this extra power adapter made it easier to charge while on the road, without disconnecting my home setup.

We decided that my wife needed another charge cable to play Animal Crossing in her craft room as well as the dock in the living room! Works perfect.

I used to have a Chromebook Pro, so charging my Switch wasn't an issue when I was away from home. But I recently sold that device and found my self with no good charger to give it enough juice. Your average cellphone charger won't be enough to charge the Switch and it will be slow if you put it to sleep. I also don't recommend using any third party charger because they might end up damaging the Switch's USB-C port. So the only option left, is to get officially licensed Nintendo products. $30 is a bit high but it is a powerful charger and will probably last me a long while. I recommend waiting for a sale but otherwise, this is a good charger.

Although $30 is really too much for what it is, you really shouldn't cheap out and by a third party power adapter. Nintendo makes very reliable products, and this one is no exception.

For something as expensive as a Nintendo Switch, I can only recommend first party everything. I'd rather pay more for something that will last and work correctly than a cheap fix.

Must have accessory especially if you plan on taking the switch with you everywhere. My kids continuously drain the battery and having this charger with you helps keep the kids busy

A sturdy, quality charger. I lost my original charger that came with my OLED so getting this new one was a must. I decided to get the Nintendo brand as If worried about quality differences with any off-brand charges. Overall happy with this purchase!

It works fine, get enough power and everything fits perfectly into the Nintendo Switch. Charges good also.

Quality made charger and not risking it with a cheaper one that has the wrong output. Definitely worth it to have a secondary charger, especially when playing handheld.
