Great Flight simulator, no other flight game comes close to it

Wow! My mind was blown with the awesome graphics. Incredible!

I can sit back put on the vr and take flight love it

No AC:Allied Assault here, we're back to the old formula, thank goodness. The story for AC7 is muddled as it tries to tell a redemption story that takes its time reaching its climax. The pacing felt off to me and needed a few more story missions. Both AC6 and AC5 felt much more compelling by comparison. The missions themselves are vastly improved over previous generations with lots to do. Additional achievements are tucked away inside the missions by performing certain tasks (and not just completing the mission) that add a lot of mileage for replayability.

There’s no free play mode to just explore a map. Game mode is restricted to missions and dependent on time and/or objectives achieved. If time it objective is not achieved mission comes to an abrupt end. This game would be much better with a free play mode, and a start from the ground (more like jet fighter III - it’s old, and not even close in graphics but it’s more fun). This game does allow you to “start from the ground”, but you have no control except giving initial throttle to start. From there it’s more like a video sequence or cut scene. It automatically brings you to altitude, no control over aircraft, overall it’s kinda 1 dimensional and gets old fast. I played it for a month or two, and I haven’t played it since.

So far so good I like the game and did not get any problem.

It’s been on my radar for so long that I’ve just now come around to buying. Being on sale doesn’t hurt either. Air dogfights and a great single player campaign makes this game a solid choice. Also the VR support is a nice surprise.

If you ever wanted to fly a fighter jet and reenact that one scene from Top Gun with Kenny Loggin's Danger Zone playing in the background, this game is for you.

This game is okay took me awhile to get into it though.

I played old Ace Combats, this doesn't disappoint!

Very cool game!! haven’t tried Vr don’t have head set. The regular version rocks!!! Played though the campaign 2 time. Best game of 2019

An interesting take on a world that doesn’t exist, Ace Combat allows one to fly jets with unlimited fuel capacity and quite a lot of ordnance. It’s impossible to run out of bullets. It’s been surmised that storage on these jets for fuel and ammunition employs a fourth spacial dimension. Physics is neat.

It's been a long time since Ace combat felt like the good old days. Great story and graphics. VR mode feels your flying a real jet.
