Visually stunning
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. From playing the first of the series of Ace combat to Unknown Skies, the game has grown over time and shows the Mark of Maturity. Smooth Combat game play and graphics are beautiful, sites from snowy mountains to the Sun setting are just about life like. Been waiting almost 10 years for Ace Combat 7 but there are NO let downs from the game. I am pleased!

Good game for all higher lover
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. With vr set and horas controller, totally different experience. Multiplayer mode is not friendly for new players take some time to learn from YouTube. If you only play single mission and don't want replay mission for get point for buy all fighter, then you better wait for discount or complete version. Vr mode with only 3 missions, don't expect for it.

Fun game better with VR!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Granted, I do not play a lot of these games but this one is a blast! So far I have only used the VR and it’s awesome. Now it would be nice to be able to have more interactive controls, but I suppose it does make it easier to fly. Only problem I have had so far is the game saying I’m out of play area while looking around while flying. Once I look straight forward, the warning goes away and the screen comes back, but sometimes that’s too late, I’ve crashed.

The best Ace Combat ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has gone back to its Ace Combat routes while adding in new features. The weather effects are amazing and actually affect your craft. Youve never felt pressure flying into thunderstorm while chasing an aircraft, your plane gets hit by lightning, your systems go out, and youre still being chased by missiles. The best yet.

An excellent return to form
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hadn't played an Ace Combat game since 4, 5, and Zero, so seeing Ace Combat 7 return to form after the "Assault Horizon" misstep I couldn't be more pleased. It's almost exactly like those entries I played 15 years ago~, story structure, music, briefing/debriefing, aircraft/special weapon loadouts, and most of the core game mechanics. The additions that I've noticed are mostly in-game environmental weather effects that can affect how you control your aircraft. These range from thunderstorms, heavy winds, sandstorms, etc. Although this addition sounds amazing it will often lead to a lot of aggravation when on certain missions. For example, in one mission you navigate your aircraft through canyon-like structures to get to a ground target. Hard enough for some people right? The structures don't allow for much room to maneuver. Now lets throw in some heavy winds that make your aircraft "drift" out of control and some heavy clouds to block your view a bit. Oh wait, now you have to take out flying targets before they take out your squadmates; catch, now you deal with heavy clouds, heavy winds, and thunderstorms all at once. Lightning strikes disrupt your targeting and other essentials for several seconds/ clouds in general weaken your targeting and can make your aircraft freeze over and stall. I don't want to get started with sandstorms or timed missions. Overall, it's an excellent Ace Combat game just with some annoyance from some of the new mechanics. If you enjoyed Ace Combat 4, 5, Zero, or 6 you'll more than likely enjoy this as well.

Great game
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I always loved the ace combat games and since I have psvr that just made this game amazing. You can fully immerse yourself into the cockpit of the coolest jets and scenery. Sometimes looking around makes you feel like you are really there. Only problem is the VR is only a little piece of the game and not the whole game and thats why its not 5 stars

Return to Form
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ace Combat 7 brings us back to the Strangereal world of the classic Ace Combat games for the first time since Ace Combat Infinity (exclusive to PS3). The flight is excellent and the story is exciting and interesting. A must for fans of the franchise and excellent for those new to the series as well.

Fantastic game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being new to PS 4 and Air Combat sims I have to say this game is fantastic. The realism is awesome and the graphics make you feel as if you are in the plane. Haven't tried the VR option yet but it is definitely on the horizon. If you are into flight sims this one has to be in your library of games.

Brings back memories
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the ace combat series back in the ps3 days. Played 0-5. Ace combat 7 is a return to a classic for me so nostalgia plays a big part. Classic gameplay feel with a sweet sweet graphical upgrade. I'm a little divided on the tree system of purchasing new planes and upgrades but graphics and gameplay are highlights. Story is negligible as all previous titles but still a fun ride

A great return to form.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been a fan of the Ace Combat series ever since I played Ace Combat 4 way back in the day on the Playstation 2. For years I've been hoping to get a new release from my favorite Playstation series, but Assault Horizon when it launched was as big a disappointment for me as it was for many other fans of the series. I'm happy to say that AC7 returns to the familiar form and factor of earlier AC games that made them so fun and enjoyable. The story is engaging. The game play is fun. And the graphics are spectacular. Plus no Day 1 DLC or other shady modern game industry shenanigans that detract from the overall experience. Or at least none that I'm aware of.
