It's fun arcade flying shooter game. However I wish I can change buttons more freely. For example, I want left/right yaw control on one side so I can control direction on one hand, speed on the other like driving my car.

Finally a good game in this genre, which seemed to have faded in recent times. I wish there were more games dedicated to this type genre out there. I don't have the virtual reality accessories but am max curious. All-in-all it's still a good game without it.

My son and I bought this with a thrust master HOTAs and setup was easy and game play was Great. Just be careful with VR as its so real it will have your head swimming from the flight maneuvers.

I enjoy this game, as I have the previous ones before it. could play it all day if my hands didn't cramp up on the joystick. probably a sign to why I need to get the flight joystick for the game.

I've been playing this mostly in PSVR..Which is amazing!!! The standard play is great also. I've been plating this series since PS1 "Air Combat".

I have the need… for speed. Jets go fast and make things go boom. Live out your TG1 and TG2 fantasies here

It's been way too long since we've have a great arcade flight simulator - and this is a real return to form the series. The PSVR missions are great, too - just wish there were more.

Great entry. The plane models are awesome and the environments are really gorgeous. Shame they adopted the season pass approach for more planes instead of just unlocking them.

Wanted to try something new, but as a completionism type player, don’t think this is the right kind of game for me. Lotsa cool aerial maneuvering, shooting down enemies, dialogue, interacting with terrain. The UI is convoluted and the upgrade skill trees is MASSIVE - probably GREAT if you’re into the technical aspects of planes like that.

In an age where the gaming industry is oversaturated with first person shooters, games like Ace Combat are a rare breed. Ace Combat 7 is a very refreshing game as it combines excellent graphics with the old school design of Ace Combat. Fun gameplay, a great selection of aircraft and upgrades, very solid campaign and just an all around fun game. This is a must play if you're looking for something different to play.

I've played this series in one of its earlier incarnations and found the game fun. This version has much improved graphical realism and is truly fun to play. no load times to speak of makes the game that much more fun to play.

I never played the originals, but had no problem keeping up with this game. Story is kinda lame, but the jet fighting is excellent. Nothing in its genre compares.

Another great game in the series that finally comes to PS4!! Lots of add ons and great when combined with the T Flight Hotas 4 flight stick!!

The game itself is ok...the VR mode is not ok. Very...weak. I had high expectations of the game and the VR mode, both fell a bit flat. The missions are fun, but I seem to spend a lot of time flying around trying to shoot the enemy....like a lot of time. There is nothing to do or look at really until you can get a lock on the enemy planes. Targeting isn't good and the lack of realism makes the game feel very arcade like. I was expecting better.
