Good simulator, but restrictive play...

Game mode is restricted to missions and dependent on time and/or objectives achieved. If time it objective is not achieved mission comes to an abrupt end. This game would be much better with a free play mode, and a start from the ground (more like jet fighter III - it’s old, and not even close in graphics but it’s more fun). This game does allow you to “start from the ground”, but you have no control except giving initial throttle to start. From there it’s more like a video sequence or cut scene. It automatically brings you to altitude, no control over aircraft, overall it’s kinda 1 dimensional and gets old fast. I played it for a month or two, and I haven’t played it since.

Great To Be Back In The Ace Combat Skies!

I thought it would be better

Makes it very hard to play especially for just starting out. Also the VR gives such motion sickness its hard to play. Not playing in VR is not bad.

A surprising comback for the series.
