It is my 1st experience with Chromebook and Acer. For somebody familiar with Windows and Mac and smartphones, there definitely is still a substantial learning curve, and I refer many times with books, online forum and helps, because nothing is obvious on the very clean and pleasing, but no useful screen. Nonetheless I like it as a whole. Netflix viewing was a snap. Photo images look washed out, and editing them is unpalatable. In spite of claims to the contrary, finding a printer (even in HP network) to print on paper is practically impossible. Skype with video is unavailable. This computer must not be the sole computer for anyone, for whom a tablet of similar size is more suitable. I disagree with the claim that Chromebook is easy and ready.

$100 chrome book

Impressive what a chrome book is capable of for this price. Meets all his school requirements, and allows him some browsing. This unit has a a very cheap track pad, gaps and alignment are poor. feeling is cheap and poor. We will see how it holds up.
