    I like Best Buy but I don't like chromebooks. The keyboard is a terrible timewaster, it is really bad IMO. I'm used to keyboarding so the lack of some keys is *REALLY* bad. No "Delete", "End", or "Home" keys means i have to 'mouse' it. Acer laptops have an average lifespan of 5 to 6 years. I bought this April 2015 so it is ~5 2/3 years old. That's about average for Acer laptops. But the battery is shot, I'll try to replace it this week. I paid ~$125+tx so I guess I got my money's worth. Next wk I'll look for a used laptop for Linux. I'm on disability so maybe I can find another $125-$150 laptop. I like Best Buy for their bargains. I like Acer for their wellmade laptops.

    I really liked this little machine but it was too lightweight and seemed more like a toy. I am use to something a little heavier and less fragile. I recommend this for someone that does not have an ipad or smaller device already.

    I'm not very tech savvy but I find this laptop easy to use. It's small size makes it very portable. So far, it is working out well. I recommend this brand to others looking for a dependable simple computer. I purchased 2 of them for my children and they like them also.
