This worked well for checking e-mail, browsing the web and general stuff while on a trip. One downside: You can only work on files off-line if they are saved in the Google formats.

Bought 2. One for my college kid and one for me. My use was primarily for streaming to TV(easy to do with HDMI cable and making a change in video output settings-google it to find directions if not known). Will also use for vacation travel and not have to lug around the old bulky laptop. For students, perfect size and weight to carry around campus. Pros: price at 129.99 couldn't be beat. Very light. Easy to use and set up. Everything an average person like me needs. Cons: I don't care about not having Word on the thing. Learn how to use Google Docs. Only, and I mean only thing I could bring up is you do not have access to Google Play store apps. Would have been nice but not a deal breaker. Don't worry about the 2GB of ram. I was waiting for a sale priced 4 GB version havig read where some people with multiple tabs opened and then the thing freezing or slowing down. Not happening unless maybe you are streaming multiple videos at the same time. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an extremely portable small laptop to perform everyday tasks. (email, web browsing, video streaming). Lastly, again i applaud Best Buy sales associates in their ability to help me. While I came into the store knowing exactly what I wanted I did appreciate the input our clerk had to offer.

This mini is awesome. It works better than I expected. It's perfect for my daughter and it has so many features.

Did find it useful since storage is always an issue. You can't install MS applications.

I got my wife the Acer 13.3 inch Chromebook with the Nvidia K1 processor and it's great. 11-13 hrs battery. No slowdowns or hiccups. Processor is sufficient for needs and never feels bogged down. I wanted an even smaller and lighter chromebook for myself and was very pleased with the Acer 13.3 inch, so I took the plunge on their 11.6 version. My concerns going in were the Intel processor, only 2MB RAM, screen quality, battery life. Size/Build - I really like this 11.6 inch size. Super portable and it feels even lighter then the specs say. Keyboard feels great. I like the bright white plastic. It feels of solid quality plastic with no flex. Screen - Not super sharp, and angles are limited, but it's a fine machine for one person, straight on viewing. It gets really bright, but I like it at about 50%. This is not super sharp like your high end smartphone or iPad tablet. -0.5 stars here. Intel inside - Netflix, Youtube, browser, gmail... handles everything pretty smoothly. Does not feel noticeable slower than the Nvidia K1 in the 13.3 inch model. No fan, no noise, and no heat. No issues with RAM. Does the job, no complaints. Battery Life - Bought it on a Sun afternoon. Took 2 minutes to log into my wifi and gmail, then was immediately online. Plugged it in, only needed 21 min to fully charge as it came partially charged already. Spent 4-5 hours web surfing that night. It sat idle for 18hrs, then I watched youtube videos for about 3.5 hrs. Then it was idled again for 10 hrs. Then I watched anime on crunchyroll.com for 2 hours before I needed to charge the battery. So, the battery was under heavy use for 9-10 hrs and on standby for another full day plus before needing first charge. That is frickin awesome. Plus, it's crazy inexpensive.

This is a great computer to use for saving notes when using google docs.

Bought for my 9 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it, good quality and does everything she needs to do.

This Acer Chromebooks is perfect for students and is reasonably priced.
