I bought this chromebook for my grandson. He loves the size and it is very easy to transport. He is in junior high and it is just right for him when he does his homework. Well worth the money.

The battery is awesome, you'll get between 6-12 hours depending on what you're doing. It powers on FASTER than your cell phone, turns off quick also. I purchased a toshiba external hard drive, which is what I've always used with all my laptops. this chromebook works perfectly with the external hard drive, as well as my flash drives and SD cards. I've had a bout 7 laptops over the past 10 years and I can say by far this is the best I've had because of it's simplicity, light weight, quick connections, no delays in opening programs etc. Everything Microsoft Office does, Google Docs can do and does better. Why pay $300 for word, excel, and powerpoint, when you can use Google Docs for FREE and can still open, send, receive, edit and read Microsoft Office Products? There are certain features and functions you'll have to learn in order to fully appreciate the chromebook. It has it's own function for caps lock, right click, full screen and refresh. Once you find those functions, I believe you'll absolutely love it. IF YOU DO NOT USE G MAIL OR ANY GOOGLE PRODUCTS, DONT PURCHASE THIS. BUY SOMETHING ELSE FOR MORE MONEY AND STICK TO WHAT YOU'RE USED TO. I use GMAIL and that was pretty much it, but after using this product for about 2 weeks, I'm not using GOOGLE DOCS and loving the experience. I love this chromebook and have no complaints. I've had it for about 4 weeks now. I use it for business and personal. I cannot answer and questions regarding games, because I don't play any on the chromebook

Worth the price. Chrome book is based on apps. If you are used to a windows computer it is difficult to adjust to. My 8 year old loves it to use YouTube, type stories, Netflix, do homework etc.

It's an amazing and powerful laptop. It does all i need. I'm very happy with the camera and the speed- it's SO fast in all it does. It is compatible with my Canon Printer. The power up takes literally less than 10 seconds when the computer is completely shut down which is incredible. The battery life lasts HOURS. My old Toshiba laptop that had Windows 8.1 was slow, had terrible battery life, the camera was bad, and the volume was so low so I replaced it with this very economical laptop. This chromebook meets my high standards and needs. The speakers are really loud so I'm happy with this as well. My sister and I each have one and got them for $150, which is worth every single penny. The price is astounding and it gives "Best Buy" its name. You will not be disappointed and it even looks like a Macbook Pro! It's small and lightweight; making it ideal for a student/business or just for personal use. I rarely review items i buy but i was just so happy with this product that i had to let other people know. The only thing i "don't like" is that you cannot download programs onto the computer. There are other apps that work great to replace these programs so it doesn't bother me. I bought the product after doing a lot of research and it was completely worth it.

It's just perfect for my family. I can do most of work I do on my computer at work. It just that the setting is not as easy for me. Maybe because I'm more used to menu on MS.

The computer was purchased as gift. Price was great.

I purchased this as a deal of the day. It's slimmer than previous chromebooks, with excellent performance. Since we have the C720P (touchscreen) version, we could compare and this one is slimmer, quicker, and doesn't have the random shutdown issue our C720P has. The battery life is excellent, and the only problem we had was remembering it is NOT a touchscreen (looked silly the first few times we tried it).

Not what I wanted. I should have read the specs better and then I wouldnt have purchased it. Nothing wrong per say on the item, just not what I wanted so I returned.

This keyboard was very difficult to type, had to push down very hard to get the chromebook to recognize that I was typing.

Purchased this for Christmas for my 10 year old to do school work on and this has been a great product. Has lasted for a year now with no issues.

Skype WILL NOT run on a Chromebook, which unfortunately I didn't find out about until after driving all the way home, setting up the computer, and then downloading/reading the online user manual. Otherwise, this laptop would've been exactly what I was looking for. Fortunately, though, BEST BUY gave me a full refund, excluding the 120 miles worth of gas it cost me to make 2 round trips back and forth to home.

Both this years ago. And still running like new. And using it for home schooling my kid.

My 11 yr old daughter wanted this laptop because it was the same kind they used at school. She was able to set it up it was that easy. She loves it.

The Chromebook is only good if 1 only want to use the internet and google apps. And most apps don't work offline. Its great tho if only using for browsing

We bought this because our daughters have chrome book at school most schools have these. It will be nice to have one at home. Not sure about product yet.

Excellent addition for both our kids. The cost was very reasonable and the two Chrome books do just what our kids need them to do.

I have to admit I bought this on Black Friday, not knowing anything about chromebooks. Once I set it up and realized the pros and cons, I can honestly say the pros outweigh the cons. As everyone has mentioned, this is a web-book, and it needs to be connected to the web. There are ways to work off-line, but you'll need to set it up by first connecting to the web and organizing a few things with google drive. The laptop build is plasticky and lightweight, but seems sturdy. Chiclet keys are easy to type but be aware that there is no caps-lock on the keyboard. (You'll need to hold down two keys together and toggle on and off.) The battery life is fantastic, lasting 8 hours. It boots up speedily and for web surfing, social media and wordpress, this acer chromebook offers quick and easy access to the web. It also doesn't heat up like a normal laptop, even after hours of use. The acer chromebook is not going to replace a full service laptop, but it can certainly complement one. All told, this was one of my favorite purchases from Best Buy.

This is my first chromebook and i feel it better than my laptop. The mouse pad is awesome and keyboard as well. Excellent product.

My son liked everything about it except inability to play alot of his favorite games, including roblox. Does not work on this.

This Chrome book is good for on the road access .Not that fast ,but gets the job done.
