This is my first Chromebook. I have a macbook, but I switch to Chromebook when I go to college or other places. Light weight, fast internet, and nice look... it's got everything. I highly recommend this product.

Purchased this for my 5th grade daughter as they are using Chromebooks in her class. This is great because of all of the projects she has with other classmates. It is easy to use and she loves being able to collaborate on projects with her classmates even when they cannot be in the same location.

I own an Acer 720 chromebook. Just picked up a new CB3 at my local BestBuy about an hour ago. They didn't even have them on display yet but had ten of them up on the shelf. After getting it charged up and set up the first thing I did was to play an HD youtube trailer at 1080. It played perfectly. Played some CNN videos set to HD and they all played perfectly. I was a bit worried about video performance having heard that the new baytrail chip didn't handle HD video that well. Can't speak to any streaming services as I don't subscribe to any. Usually just have one tab open at a time too. Speed is just a tad bit slower but really not noticeable unless you are really looking for it. The construction is solid and rigid. The only construction concern I have it the screen hinges; there are two with each being only an inch wide so not much support. But the screen is very thin and light so they may be just fine. Screen seems a bit brighter than my 720 but that may be due to the "new" factor or the white color of the unit. All I know is that I am very impressed. Keyboard is great with plenty of travel for me. I think these will sell quite well once they get them out for all to see.

THis is great. It boots instantly and has a easy to use interface. One can be instantly productive with it and Google Drive is a great set of free tools. Great for a student too I think.

Bought this computer for both my 11 and 13 year olds. Both use Google Chrome for all school projects. This computer works great for them! Easy to set up, easy to use. Works for both school and watching netflix, searching the web, etc.

Excellent laptop for the price! I was very surprised and pleased with this product. I can do EXACTLY what I need to on this device. It is efficient and I could not have chosen a better laptop! Thank you GoogleChromeBook!

got this for a great price on black friday. my son loves it. charges fast and the charge lasts him many many hours. great for web surfing and streaming videos. no problems so far

Shopping for my 2nd one because I dropped the first. NEVER will I use another system. Yes, some programs do not work with it, but they're worth working around. It's even survived my boys (one of whom is an autistic computer genius who reprograms things to suit his needs - he tried this and never changed a thing. With Windows - he rewrote the WHOLE thing)

Bought at Best Buy, and it wasn't even on display yet! Really nice build quality - sure it's plastic, but it seems stiffer or thicker plastic than my Samsung - little or no flexing - a very solid unit. I like the white color, and the matte finish won't get all smudgy like the slick silver Samsung did. Typical chromebook layout and function, so nothing new here. It has the 64bit OS, which is new (to me). Snappy performance - at least as good, if not better than my Samsung w/ the exonyx processor and equal ram. Streams HD video smoothly. Speedtest showed 34Mbps down and 23Mbps up on comcast internet over wifi - so the radio and processor are as fast as anything else I own in that regard. Multiple tabs at a time presented no issues. Keyboard is nice, and trackpad is as good as or better than any other chromebook I've played with. Screen is matte, which I prefer over glossy. So far so good! Better than expected at this price point.

The Chormebooks may lack some of the features of PC or Mac laptops, but you cannot beat the price.

Much like all laptops I ever bought this acer is great. I love them because they are affordable, built rock solid, never cause me a problem, when I upgrade them every 6 or 8 years they are still running.

Got this laptop about 1 year ago. I loved the price, how lightweight it was, quick to boot up, and it did everything I needed it to do. Recently the wifi stopped working however, and I tested other computers so I know it's the chromebook that's not working. The wifi will work, but cut out every 15 or 20 seconds. Streaming anything is impossible, and when using the web you have to wait for it to reconnect. Still think the chromebook is a great idea, but I'd go with a different brand. Also, realize that for the price you might not be getting top quality and durability. I'd give it 5 stars if it still worked..

The Fastest Internet Speeds out of all my prior computers including my so called "Hi-End", $1500 Apple IOS. Battery Life is also very impressive at 10 hours and 5-6 when Streaming Netflix. It does everything I need without having the many programs that come with Window and IOS that I rarely used and only slow the speed of the computer.

I bought this Chromebook for traveling. It is the perfect size and I have never had a problem with it.

We bought this for our kids since they use Chromebooks at school with their Google accounts. We got it on sale for $150.00. The computer works well and is light yet durable. So far the internet has run smoothly with no issues. We will be buying another in the future Im sure. Great computer for the kids or as a starter!

I bought this for my daughter and she has not put it down since. Excellent buy for the money. Its very similar to a tablet but in laptop form. I would definitely recommend to my friends.

Having previously purchased the touchscreen version of this Chromebook for a family member in 2014, the time came again to replace an aging first generation iPad of a family member in 2015. The Chromebook was the perfect solution for basic web browsing and internet applications, plus it keeps itself up to date. This laptop is well made, and given Chrome OS' design, the touchscreen isn't missed on this non-touch model.

I have a gaming pc and 90% of the time I browse the internet like youtube and forums so I got this chromebook to fill those needs. Got this acer 11 chromebook and everything is fast thanks to the ssd. Keyboard and trackpad are responsive and has good feel.

This unit has become my go-to for all but my most intense web searching. The screen is crisp and colors are good. Response time is very good. Build quality is very good. Keys have a very satisfying "click" that makes typing easy. Without mechanical parts to wear, I leave it on all day with just the screen turned down for instant access. More expensive units may have more bells and whistles but this unit does everything necessary very well for a modest price
