Perfect for my kids school work. Was looking into new laptop, but discovered my kids are using Chromebooks at school. Easy choice. Everything they work on at school is easy to access at home on the cloud. Purchased Chromebook, monitor, keyboard/mouse and printer for less than cost of a good laptop.

It arrived in great condition and on time. It’s great, I am using it for my online classes. I really like being able to create my documents,without having to buy office and will be using Perrla online fir my papers. I am very pleased. It also has a great exterior, looks expensive. Great product.

This is my first Chromebook. So far so good. Only wish I knew how to get rid of all the ads that pop up everywhere. Very different from using a windows based computer. But I'm sure I will get use to it.

If you're considering a Chromebook, do some research to determine if it will meet your needs. I've been using one for the past couple of years and have found no limitations (although photo/video editing is time-consuming due to processing in the cloud). Now as far as this machine goes... Solid build quality. The aluminum case looks and feels very nice. After 90 days it is still squeak-free and appears as new, no scratches, etc. The display is very crisp and the colors accurate. As some other reviews noted, it has darker values than some other Chromebook displays, but compared side-by-side with other Chromebooks, i could not find a nicer display. This particular machine got noticeably "lighter" after 20-30 hours of use, so give it some time if you think your display looks a bit different than in the store! Keyboard is "chiclet" style and the keys have good travel. Trackpad is nice and solid. Never really thought about the keyboard/trackpad, which means no issues with performance. Only used the camera a few times to post ads and such, and it's perfectly adequate. Battery life is stellar. I stream video extensively (got rid of my tv years ago) and I've never run the battery down even after several hours streaming during the day. Performance is as you would expect from a Chromebook - Fast boot, fast browsing, and I've only experienced dropped streams and audio a couple of times. Both of which were on less than optimum streaming sites and connections, so maybe not even attributable to this machine. Having had some issues with an Acer product in the past, I was hesitant to say the least about this purchase, but after 90 days, really couldn't be happier, and I hope this helps you make your decision. This chromebook has a great screen and a quick processor. It's light and yet feels sturdy, similar (to me) to a Macbook air. To me, this is the best 13"+ screen chromebook available.

Of course this laptop is not machined from a block of aluminum like a MacBook, and it doesn't have back-lit keys. It does have a beautiful silver finish on it's metal body, an excellent island style keyboard, and a crisp, bright full HD IPS 1080 display, for less than $300. So you get $900 looks, Chromebook speed, simplicity, and reliability. Everyone should have one of these.

I have both an Asus touch screen Chromebook, and this Acer non-touch screen. This one is my definite favorite. Long battery life, bright and chrisp screen, very slim and light.

This is a great alternative to a laptop. Easy to use. Fast fast fast! Connects to google apps so you don't need Microsoft office. Inexpensive and easy to use. Highly recommend.

The Acer Chromebook 14 is really user friendly & so much quicker than my old desk top! It is very reasonable compared to similar sized laptops. So happy with the purchase!

I really like this product. It does the majority of what I need. Chrome OS does have its limitations, but it is light, thin and a great screen. Fits my needs.

I bought this item for my grandson who has just entered college. He reports that the chromebook is inexpensive, easy to use, and fulfills all his needs as a student.

I bought this for my son for homework and research projects, and to practice typing. It is a sufficiently fast processor and the perfect size for him. He loves it!

just getting this opened and playing around with searching and settings. Fast web browsing so far. did keep getting a "web page is not private" error. updated and reset. ensured date and time were correct and the error went away and web pages are loading.

I purchased this laptop for my daughtter since she is homeschooled. She loves it! It already came with prograns she uses. It is easy to use and its lightweight.

until this moment is working great , it has all the functions that need it for a fast and easy access for almost a computer has . look professional .

My daughter loves this Chromebook. It helps her easily use the Google suite for school assignments. Lightweight and large screen.

I have only had it a little over a week but i'm really liking it so far . I find it easy to use and starts and shuts down really fast witch is great .

Our old Dell laptop went to the great re-cycler in the the sky so we purchased 6 months back while on sale. Our family is pretty pleased with it. It is fairly quick and works for most of my families needs (Cool Math, Friv, Netflix, word processing, etc.). Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel using Office Online. Was able to easily print from our old HP deskjet printer which was nice. It pretty durable because of the mostly aluminum chassis. Purchased a silicon keyboard protector to keep dust and spills to a minimum. Would buy again.

The Acer Chromebook has been a great computer. Fast, lightweight, High Def screen, and long battery life. Plenty of neat apps so no need for Windows Office.

My husband bought this computer to replace his MacBook. He wanted something that was light and easy to use, and didn't need all the bells and whistles of an expensive Apple computer. He has been using it for his PhD program and loves it so far! There are some upgrades that would make some things better, including providing a better Spotify app, but it overall suits his needs.
