No worries about viruses. Big screen but lightweight with very long battery life (8+ hrs). If you can surf the web with the Chrome browser you are almost already an expert in how to use this laptop. It's perfect for family members who might become overwhelmed by other computers. But is still powerful enough for me to do all my family tech support for everyone else.

It was OK at first...But then it got bad

It was easier to carrier around for simple daily tasks but after the update pushed by Google it restarted and would not boot back up. Thinking this was off I had the geek squad take a look and they confirmed my thoughts that's the updated bricked my Chromebook.
