Purchased this for my mom! Its easy to use, fits all of her needs and is a great value for the money!

My kiddo uses for school and loves the size, ease of use, and it works with all the school programs. I loved the price!

Although there are a few limitations in a Chromebook, I really like the speed and extended battery life

I got this as an option for web browsing, running a few apps, and playing w/ Linux with a decent display at a good price. The display is okay (viewing angle is limited). Sound is okay (grab some headphones if needed). Memory is limited, so buy an SD card and that is solved (or you can save to cloud for a monthly fee after 1 yr). The app store does "appear" to be "limited", but that is not necessarily true. Example: Netflix app DID NOT appear in the search. Netflix.com works in Firefox, but not Chrome. However, you either have 'lite' versions of 'Fox' in store (will not work w/ Netflix) OR you can enable Linux* and install Firefox ESR (which has sound issues after enable DRM- can be resolved, but you need to understand Linux and have applicable files). IF you want to AVOID this hassle, download Opera Browser (more secure than Chrome) and go to Netflix.com. When you try to 'sign in', The site will IMMEDIATELY "recommend" the Netflix App and take you to the app store where... voila... it is NOW available. Download and enjoy. :) This has happened for several other sites as well. * FYI: Make sure you have an SD card installed as enabling Linux (beta and files) will "eat up" abour half your available HD memory.

Is an amazing laptop with really good performance, memory and speed perfect for office work

My new chromebook came at a great time. I have been using it to teach kids at home! It is easy to use and I love how big it is!

Really like it so far. If you like Chrome or Google Chrome it's really nice. Works just like if downloaded and used on Windows Laptop. I think there isn't a lag when surfing, but all depends on what someone would be using for. I chose to go this route after my Windows laptop took a crash as I was always downloading Chrome to use instead of Internet Explorer.

This was a great upgrade for him at a wonderful price. Great battery life and esse of use. Would recommend it for anyone.

Good battery life and large screen make browsing the web fairly easy. Minimal maintenance with ChromeOS.

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son. It's much cheaper than my Lenovo. I understand to some that's comparing oranges and bananas (couldn't say Apple's but that's a whole other comparison) . Anyway everything he really does is app based so this works. He also just leaves or at home so I got the larger screen since portability wasn't a need.

I bought this chromebook to complement our laptop and we use it primarily for web browsing, emails, etc. It was easy to set up and connect to our home WiFi. The keyboard does not have as good a feel as the laptop, but that's a minor issue. Overall a very good choice for the money.

Great for an elementary student’s school laptop. I don’t think I’d use it for anything more than that, but it’s a good value for what we use it for.
