I bought this for my wife and was trying to be cost conscious. I wanted to get a less expensive one and didn’t think she needed touch screen. When she was using it realized it was touch screen. She loves it.

This is a great Chromebook for its price and durability.

This works wonders. It is so simple to use. The picture quality is absolutely beautiful and I love it! The touch screen sensor is sensitive and no need to be rough.

I was looking for a lightweight laptop as a secondary computer and was directed to the Chromebook. I thought the price tag was a mistake but was assured it was correct. So far this has met all the tasks required, which is mainly going online, shopping, and doing research. We tried to put an antivirus on it and when we couldn't, we discovered that the Chromebook is at such a low risk for viruses and has a built-in antivirus, you cannot add one. With the short life of much more expensive computers slowly down and becoming obsolete within years, you cannot go wrong with a Chromebook.

This was kind of expensive for a Chromebook. I am impressed with the design and style. It runs Android apps beautifully. The screen is crisp and has nice definition. The weight is a bit on the bulky side.

This is a chromebook, but the configuration is just like a windows book. It can do a lot of things more than a simple chromebook. The screen is really good

Love it. My son is going to enjoy it for Christmas.

1st unit No Good...display not working, 2nd unit OK

This computer is great and has supported all my daughter’s college needs. She reports it’s extremely fast and has fielded everything her Windows-based profs have thrown at her. I highly recommend it.

Use this laptop everyday. No lagging. Fast. Great.

Let me start by saying that this is my very first chromebook. I have been using my awesome, very large smartphone as my only computer for the last 5 years, so I was already an android lover and very familiar with Chrome. Ok ... now to the Acer 15.6 Touchscreen Chromebook. I am totally in love. The entire package looks and feels quality. The picture quality is true HD and the screen size is large ... 15.6 is big if you haven't used one. It really has all the bells and whistles ... two 3.0 and 2.0 USBs ... charges super fast and the battery literally is lasting me slightly over 12 hrs with pretty heavy use, including streaming several HD movies during that time. In addition to 32gb of storage, I added the a 64 gb SD card ... but will accept larger. This is the only super quality looking and feeling 15.6 inch chromebook that is true HD 1080p ... and has a touchscreen! I was so used to using my phone that a touchscreen was a requirement and this one in great. The touchpad is really good and responsive and a wireless or bluetooth mouse can be added for a few bucks if you're a mouse person. Ok ... if you have struggled through this very simple but honest review then let me tell you why I did it ... most other reviews sounded like they were done by techies! I'm a real person who wanted something that was a superior product ... to look great and work fast ... and it does. I did compare it to the Acer 14 and the white Acer 15.6 ... both HD but lacking a touchscreen. IGNORE any professional tech, PC magazine reviews online that rates these 2 as superior to the 15.6 touchscreen version. I find all three after extensively trying them out to be very comparable ... with the primary difference being this one has the touchscreen and therefore slightly more expensive. Now for the almost part and why 4 stars. I really would give it 4.5 stars if I could. It is missing the HDMI that the other two have. Lastly, although I love the screen, it's upper right and left corners are slightly recessed ... looks great but if using the touchscreen it can be awkward to try to "X" out and close a window. Some have commented that it lacked the anti glare screen feature, which is true and this could be an issue with sunny outdoor viewing just as it is with most smartphones. I personally prefer it ... it makes the picture crisp and clear as opposed to being opaque which I personally feel happens with anti glare screens. So ... if you want a large, fast, chromebook that has a great HD picture ... AND you like the added bonus of a touchscreen ... then you must buy this product.

Bought it due to needing somthing right then and there did a lot of research for a lot of laptops all the reviews it dos great for what I need and love the touchscreen ontop of the keyboard

Got this as a gift for someone who is a tad technologically challenged. It’s so simple to use especially with the touchscreen. Battery life is bearable and it’s a little heavy but gets the job done.

Daughter loves for surfing and movies. Is a sturdy product and touch screen is a nice extra. Highly recommend for kids who need access to GoogleDocs and watching videos or Netflix.

If you're looking for a Chromebook with a larger display (15+ inches), this is one of the very few options around. That said, it's a solid Chromebook and a good value. Performance is about what you'd expect based on the specs. Which is to say, that it handles everyday browsing with multiple tabs open without any issue. I don't use a lot of Chrome or Android apps so I can' speak to the performance. The computer is reasonably thin and light for a 15 inch notebook. My biggest complaint is that the screen skews fairly dim. It's not a disaster but it's not great either. On the bright side, the FHD resolution is good (though frankly, table stakes these days) and it's nice having the touchscreen.

Great for beginning , I’m 61 and nice to use instead of my phone or when using both one to watch CNBC and one watching my trades, browsing or watching a movie, great for the money

The light up letters on the keyboard are fabulous! This is perfect for me and I am happy to get a quality machine at an affordable price. This is my 2nd Chromebook.
