Originally purchased the Chromebook for my wife, but liked it so much, I decided to keep it for myself. And of course I bought her something else.

I got this for my sister a birthday gift and loves it! She needed a new one as her old one had broken down, for some reason she's a big fan of Acer, I had never tried one until we got this one and WoW! Great quality for the price!

Stopped showing videos after 2 hours... hung and would not restart. Had to power off and when it came back the videos still would not play. Something getting warm in there and causing the video to pause and finally stop all together...

Purchased for kids to conduct school projects and browse web. The computer is very lightweight, charges fast has nice large screen and connects to internet flawlessly!

This is a very nice Chromebook. I is very easy to use. The screen is large (15.6"). Sometimes I watch a video on YouTube. (The sound and picture are very good.) Apps update very fast. This is a nice Chromebook!

Need a fairly inexpensive “laptop” to consume media, browse the web, email, and light productivity like word processing? And in a light package? Well, this new revamp of the Acer Chromebook 15, model CB515-1HT-P39B, can do all of those things. This is not however a complete laptop or desktop replacement. This would probably be ok for most high school students, and even some college students that don’t need to install programs made for windows, like some engineering and science students do. The processor is an Intel Quad Core N4200, 4gb of Memory has bult in wi-fi, and bluetooth, and surprisingly decent 1920x1080 IPS touch LCD panel. There is 32gb of on board storage. There is also a web cam on it for skype, recording video, etc. Later this year, this thing will become even more useable, as this refresh of the chromebook 15 will be supporting Google Play Store apps. Connectivity wise, there two USB 3.1 Type-C ports, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI port, headphone port (thank you for not removing Acer!!), Bluetooth 4.2, and even a SD card reader (officially supporting up to 128gb SDXC cards. This model also has a touchscreen, which will be great once Google Play apps are supported later this year, as those apps are designed to work with those screens, and not trackpads. All in all this is a pretty good chromebook for the money.

Computer is perfect performing online homework. Boots quickly and allows fast access to Internet. Only downfall is Operating System does not have way to block users, since login is based on gmail account

This chromebook makes it easy to use. I am not a regular computer user. It is just like my galaxy. Has just what I need. Nothing more or less. Screen looks great. Sound is great.

Don’t expect to get this and for it to be a blazing fast computer. It does what an Entry Level computer should at and entry level speed. Great for chrome OS and my Linux uses I use it for.

lasted exactly 2 years. bought june 12, 2018. today is June 23, 2020. died a few days ago. warranty ran out in 1 year. was able to find warranty on acer website. too bad this computer only lasts 2 years. Seems strange how it lasted exactly 2 years. seems like planned obsolescence. just wouldn't turn on anymore. you get what you pay for. i might still buy again for the value. if it lasted one more year, i would have given it 4 stars. too quick to die.

Like the fact can use the touch screen to get done what I need to and the lighted keyboard. Still getting used to the programs it has to use.

very happy with my acer moniter. had trouble with hook up did not have accesories best buy help me get the right hook upit took 3 visit but they were very helpful.

This chromebook is phenomenal. Works flawlessly and let’s me have access to everything. Chrome OS is so minimal and doesn’t get in the way of doing actual work.

My son will be starting summer B at the University of North Florida. He needed a laptop, and picked out a Chromebook. He is really pleased with his decision.

The laptop is great value for the money! Plenty of HD’s space and 8 gig ram. Only thing that would’ve made it better was a SSD HD. Very slim and portable.

I got one for myself because I had never had a laptop before, and ended up purchasing another one for my daughter as well!

I have had this Chromebook for about two years. Works great. Great sound. I love my Chromebook. Does everything that my windows laptop did.

Replaced my Windows laptop that was too slow. I like the quick power on and the features of this Chromebook. The look of the laptop is striking!

I would highly recommend the Google Chromebook to anyone needing the basics such as email and surfing the net.. Good value for a great product !

Most chromebooks are a little on the cheap side and hinges tend to break frequently, but not this one. It's sturdier then some laptops.
