I got tired of using the standard screen on the laptop. I can view spreadheets much better with this external monitor.

I purchased two of these for school and they work well in a dual monitor setup. Be sure you have a video card that supports these with HDMI or DVI connection.

I enjoy this monitor. There is nothing on this monitor making me unsatisfied. I bought another 23-in glossy monitor not long ago. But unhappy on its reflection in my bright room. In contrast, this one is Matte. So I don't worry about the reflection. I am also satisfied with the color and the response time. The height of the screen is not adjustable. But my wife is OK on that.

I have bought several Acer monitors through the years and have always been pleased. This monitor needs some room to breathe, though - it is the biggest that I have purchased to date. It provides a great experience. I use it as a second monitor for my HP Omen 17" laptop and love it. The product blurb actually nailed it and I didn't even read it until after I had bought one.

Very clear display. HDMI and vga outlet. Gets dusty kind of quick though.

I read the reviews before I purchased this computer a few of them said the hard drive was really noisy & I have to say they were correct! It works great for what I need and all but just a bit loud. I can dig it.

Acer monitors are quality! Our current one is 6 years old and still runs perfectly! Looking forward to a long life with this new one, too!

Variety of connections (VGA DVI & HDMI) is great having. Picture quality is very clear and does well in various lighting areas

I am a programmer so I deal mostly with text editors and have not done much with photos and no gaming at all. The monitor seems bright and clear. I can't say how accurate the pixel colors are because I'm not a photo guy. You'll have to rely on other reviews for that. I can say I really like it when using it for text applications (web, email, word, programming, etc.).

I bought two of these to run dual monitors. They work and look great. The 60hz refresh rate wasn't a turn off for me since I don't game. Haven't pushed fast action movies on it yet, but streaming video quality is excellent. I would have given these monitors five stars had the chords been about a foot longer. I had longer HDMI chords, but they wouldn't seem to display with anything other than the factory chords. It was a tight squeeze to get them to work with dual monitors given my work station setup.

Screen is large and very clear, especially for gaming! My son loves it!
