This little computer is great for my needs. I wanted something small and light weight to take when I travel. I don't use it much so I didn't want to spend a lot. I use it for email and surfing the web. I usually work with 5 or 6 windows open at a time and this can handle it. Plenty of storage space to hold my ebooks, photos and audiobooks. I love that it uses Windows 7 so it's the same operating system as my desktop. For the money it's a great buy.

So far, I am very happy with my new Acer. I use it for a limited purpose, that is to run Quicken for Windows. My files are substantial, and I was having real slowness problems with my prior computer. The Acer has enough RAM to move quickly through what I need it for, so I am happy. It was easy to set up and begin work, it starts quickly, and is just dandy. It is very small and light, which is also something that was important to me.

This purchase was a replacement for a broken Gateway 10" Netbook. I could have gotten another identical machine, but then I'd have to suffer the nightmare that is Win8.,1. So, I searched around and found this great machine. It was available elsewhere at similar pricing, and had good reviews everywhere I looked. But, the convenience of store pickup sealed the deal. For everyday 'net surfing, email, social media type stuff, this is the perfect portable machine. If you're looking to do gaming, this is probably not the machine for you. I've installed Office 365, and everything works fine there, too. Though, I'm not working with mega-spreadsheets like I do on my "big" laptop (an older Gateway) or my work laptop (a Lenovo, provided by the company). My only complaint is that battery life is much shorter than the Gateway Netbook was, but I'm rarely not near an outlet.

This was a good laptop. I liked it but returned it because it had a ComfyView (matted) display, which I found somewhat hazy. The on-line product description said it had a CineCrystal (glossy) display; so, what I received was not what was described. Otherwise, I would have kept it.

...this machine has met all my expectations...so pleased with it...plenty of power, memory, and boot speed...purchased this particular model because it had Windows 7, not 8 (which I think is a horror show)...Best Buy folks were helpful in locating it for me (no Windows 7 carried in-store any more)...Acer, you done good!...

I don't recommend this laptop. Apparently the motherboard melts/dies due to the thin casing - mine did just after the warrantee period. I had it for 1 year and a few days and it just went black on me. I was only using the computer for basic windows programs, so its a P.O.S. in my opinion. I am writing this from my new laptop which has been bought from another electronic company and has warrantees out the whazoo. Fingers crossed that it lasts at least a year.

East to set up, easy to use; I use it for work, and it works great with my software and for accessing the internet. I wanted Windows 7, and that is what it has. I use a wireless mouse, and the keyboard is very functional too. Very happy with my purchase.

This has been an excellent little machine. I can take it anywhere and get things done, like email, word processing and even some photo work using Fireworks and Photoshop. The price was affordable too.

Got for my daughter for college, she likes it and thinks it will be great, had it a month and no complaints.

This was my third Acer laptop. The first 2 I had were great, but this one was horrible! Even at it's highest the volume was ridiculously low. Also, I could not adjust the size of the text, which was a deal breaker for my aging, old baby boomer eyes. In the control panel it gives you the option to enlarge the text by one and only one grade, but it wouldn't actually DO it. I spent hours on the phone w/ the utterly useless (but very courteous) tech support reps, each offering a different solution to correct the issue, but none of them worked. I ended up returning it (another nightmare) & purchased a Lenovo Yoga laptop instead which so far I am pleased with.

My 2nd Acer. Both work great and at a good price too. I use the VGA or HDMI port to my large monitor and have excellent resolution. 1920 X 1080 or thereabouts. Buy it!

Great computer for anyone who still loves Windows 7. Does everything I need and has good sound and good screen. So easy to use.

I'm extremely pleased with its processing speed and 750GB is plenty big enough!

This computer was a great value. It was exactly what I was looking for in regards to resource specifications and price.

Mom is 90. Her mind is sharp but her mobility suffers... She can lift this and it doesn't take up a lot of 'much valued' space next to her chair. It is Windows 7 like her desktop PC. We loaned a tablet to her for a while... Arthritus and touchscreen don't work together well. Added a corded USB mouse so that if she drops it she can pull it back up. She loaded her Bridge game first.... Email next and is so happy to be able to look up things on the web! Not a power house. But just as good as her desk top. In a format she can grasp.

This is plenty for typing and surfing the web, also for videos and streaming. Based on size it is a little cramped, but very portable and light. Don't know if this was just me, but the touch mouse is very jerky and stops working all together at times unless I disable an re-enable. Buy a mouse if you plan on getting this just in case, also try to find it for a cheaper price.

I tried Tablets, For me I can't stand them. This little power house does everything a tablet will do. plus so much more. it is only a little larger than a tablet. and at $349.99 I hope it lasts forever or people start buying these again. I can download from anyone ITunes,msn,Vudu,Cinema now. I can store to hard drive. I can connect with a wire to internet. or use WiFi. don't have to worry about screen. and I love having a keyboard.and wireless mouse (extra 12.99). This feels good and you can really use on your laptop.

I was looking for a quick replacement for my laptop that was broken and managed to get this laptop at a discount. It does all what a laptop should do and I am planing to keep it only for a year and get a brand new one after that.

Don't ever buy this brand. It's one of the worst. I had one and something went wrong I tried to download drivers and they don't offer free driver downloads. Terrible customer support!! I mean it. They make you sent the laptops to their shop so you have to pay them to have it fix and they charge expensive to fix them . Poor quality, display is bad something goes wrong in few weeks after you buy it. . I never again will buy this brand. Take my advice or you'll be sorry.
