This laptop is great and cheap. It has good specifications. It runs really fast.

I was just looking for something I could run office on and not worry to much about and this computer has done even more than I thought it would. It never heats up, great battery life, it runs fast.

This Acer seemed good right out of the box. Reviews were positive enough and the price was great. I was hesitant about the 4G memory, but the Best Buy associate felt this computer was faster than the other brand and model I was considering, and the i5 processor was supposed to be good. This computer was pretty fast out of the box. I was initially impressed . But after installed Miicrosof Office, Chrome, Firefox, and perhaps a couple other programs, it quickly bogged down. In my opinion, if this laptop remained as sit was out of the box, it would be great. But in actuality, it's slow, cumbersome, and takes up to several minutes (literal minutes) to open some control panel items, such as "devices and printers." I tested it while writing this review and it took about 2 minutes just for this Acer to open this menu item, when it really should be nearly automatic. A status bar comes up when it opens--this time the status bar ran its distance, then the computer said "still working on it," before the status bar ran its course a second time. This is annoying and frustrating when I'm trying to deal with printer connectivity issues. The sound quality is pretty good with this laptop, although all speakers are on the underside (inverse to the keyboard). I'm not sure the rationale for this, but it certainly doesn't enhance the sound. Also, the number lock doesn't stay on/off when I restart. Mild annoyance, but irritating nonetheless, because I use that keypad a lot, and I often end up typing numbers thinking they're showing up, when it's turned off again. I wouldn't buy this laptop; again. I would have returned it had I the time and hadn't purchased this after returning another, but far worse quality Asus.

I was looking for an affordable uet upgradable laptop and this fits right in.

So far my granddaughter is pleased with this laptop, we thank the good customer service @ best buy who help a family with no knowledge of what was needed for a freshman college student laptop.

Good choice and value. Computer was easy to set up and has a great screen.

Not as fast as I would have thought with a Core i5 processor, but it's a good deal for the price (and I got it on sale). Enough USB ports including a USB-C. Has a DVD drive which I wanted.

Purchased two months ago, an Acer Aspire E-15, and now cursor hangs up occasionally and must be moved with "enter" or other action. Annoying, but not prohibitive, and expected more.

Really good for the price, does exactly what I need, very satisfied.

already getting 2 messages that come up when first starting the computer. Not sure what they are for and I just x out of them. Wish it came with Word or Libre already installed.

Great little Laptop for the Money, Has the speed and the Memory.

I bought it because for some reason an I5 has held it's value for years, a friend bought one a few yeras ago and the price is about the same , a little lower but not by much.

Bought for basic laptop. Does everything I could do with an older laptop but with newer intel core and more memory at a good price.

I bought this for my job in 2016 so far so good. There's no light but it gets the job done. It seems to have a lot of updates which can be useless.

This is a great product and the price is beutiful awesom

Purchased this for my children to use for schoolwork. Processor is a bit slow but a well-performing machine and fits the need. 10-key number pad is a nice bonus.
