Mostly Hype

I'll be giivng this to my wife so I can purchase a real machine. -Battery life is horrible regardless of settings. I'm lucky to get 2-3 hours on a full charge. -8GG RAM is unusally sluggish, do youself a favor and spend the extra for the 12GB up front. -Some of the features of Windows 10 take a minute to figure out, like how to remove the preview panels from the home screen. The ONLY thing that gives this machine an edge over the MBP is that it has a built in SD card slot. Not sure why Apple thought to remove that...not smart, considering how many photographer opt for the MBP, like I will be. The Acer is not horrible, but I don't think it's a machine for a college student at best.

Great computer

The guy at best buy helped me choose this one because I was stuck on this computer and the new surface. He explained to me that they both do the same and run the same programs its just that the surface is more like a tablet. I already have a table so I didn't really need another one.

Acer R15 2-in1 Latop

Easy setup and also initiated the Hyper-V functionality after upgrading to Windows 10 Pro. I was able to easily boot up my old Dell Laptop as a virtual machine again with no problems. Display is nice and bright which is a plus. Still to new to say any more at this time.
