Great laptop very convenient

Decent but slow
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pros: Good Price, bright screen, numeric keypad, has all standard ports (SD, USB A, HDMI, plus USB-C port, no bloatware, loud speakers, 2 in 1 design Neutral (decent): Battery life (more than 7 hrs), decent trackpad, ok keyboard travel, weight. Cons: Slow (caused by HD), fan is on most of the time (even when idle sometimes), power plug is flimsy, screen cannot be dimmed all the way down. Note: Computer can be opened to upgrade RAM to 12GB (only had 1 slot) and SSD drive (standard serial 2.5") (10 screws, pry open the bottom case with a plastic spudger tool). I returned the laptop because it is slow, the fan noise is noticeable in a quiet room, and the flimsy power plug is disconcerting.

Great Laptop at a Great Price

I intended to use it in the "tablet" mode but that is not working out that well for me. It is too heavy for that purpose and I can only download Windows Apps which are not the same as those I'm familiar with and wanted to have same as on the iPad.

Happy with this selection.

When first purchased the keyboard back-light came on breifly when touched. Since the first automatic update, unsure if Microsoft or Acer, the backlight no longer activates, Can not find any answers online.

Saved me so much $

I really have lost faith in MacBooks really getting any solid improvement. I have to say this laptop has made school a lot easier for me. I love the keypad most of all. The brightness of the keys is awesome.
