The product or service has exceeded their expectations or undelivered. I fall under the latter, I felt compelled to write this review. Simple case, needed a laptop for college and work. Found this on Best Buy's website for a great price, didn't really use the laptop for a while. However, when I did start to use it. Several issues have come up. The laptop's specs are good for the price. But the laptop when booting into Windows runs slow, really slow for me. booting up applications can take up to 30 seconds which causes the laptop to freeze. The culprit is Windows 10 background updates. There are huge amounts of updates being downloaded and installed in the background which can cause the computer to slow, that's fair. So I left it alone for 1 whole day to update. I don't believe this laptop ships with Windows 10 out of the box as standard. It seems Acer took an existing model and updated it to Win 10, hence why I'm getting updates by looking at the update numbers reflect someone who's updated to Windows 10 from a prior version. Worst of all, the laptop doesn't seem to want to update, the install keeps failing and I have tried everything. Even replacing the unit, and the 2nd unit is doing the same.
