Wanted a 14" model, not a lot of choices. Touch pad fair, keyboard fair. Blazeling fast, absolutely incredible shut down and start times. Needed Windows at Work laptop, works flawlessly although had to send back and have re-imaged 1st time. Also 1st one failed and had to take back.

I've had no issues with my acer so far. Everything runs great and the screen quality is beautiful. My only complaint would be when it's folded into a tablet the keyboard is exposed. While this doesn't cause any issues it still feels very awkward. I rarely ever use it as a tablet because of this.

I purchased The Acer Aspire for my niece being it will be her first year in college and she loves it. I boots up quickly so she can get to work with little to no delay. She also loves the folding feature so she can use it to watch her favorite show and use it as a tablet when on the go.

It can deliver when you need something done. This machine has beauty and more also will handle whatever your tough day at work brings to you. The first accer I bought about Five years ago is still serving my family. Accer is my best tool for my job. I'm glad made that decision long ago.

    Best I could find

So, I am going to do as thorough a review as I possibly can to help those that are on the edge. First off, I started searching for a laptop months before I actually bough this one. The first laptop I ever had was a refurbished dell... Anyone can tell you that was a mistake. Didn't last long, swore off Dell forever. My next laptop was an Acer. It was purchased for me and I had no input on what I was going to get. I never had any problems with it that I can recall until the end. The charging port screwed up, and I couldn't get it to charge. I was told that it was a power surge that broke that. And I was at the end of my two year warranty. So I needed a new one The next laptop was an Asus. I have been told that they are a very desirable brand to purchase. I didn't have many problems either, except a error code that kept restarting my laptop. Error code exception or whatever. That and the charger port literally broke. And since it was attached to the motherboard, it would cost hundreds to fix. So I needed to look for a new laptop, so I went to a friend who does this sort of thing for a living. Built his own desktop from scratch when he was 16. So I was told what was good to have. I was told a SSD (Solid State Drive) was a very desirable feature to have, and that it would last a long time. So I had one thing on my checklist. That limited my options because SSD is expensive, so the screen would automatically be scaled down enormously from my previous 15.6 inch. I also wanted an ASUS because I knew they were a good brand (So I have been told). Also, since tablets and touchscreens have been increasing in popularity, I need to keep up with the times and the market that I will be going into. So I need an SSD, a touch screen/2 in 1, and an ASUS. I also needed an affordable price. I have seen 13.3 inch laptops that are up to $400 more than this one, with literally no difference, or a 128 GB instead of the 256 GB provided by this one. Literally, the only difference was brand, and a smaller size. I fulfilled all of my wants (and needs) with this laptop. It is a 2 in 1 touchscreen, it did NOT break the bank (however, this in NO way means its 'cheap'), with a SSD, as well as a good screen size. I have only seen one other 14 inch laptop with the same specs as this one, and it is $200 more, and it had no difference to it, except brand name. In conclusion to my long review, I have had little to no problems with this laptop. I hear no noise from it, have yet to feel any heat from it, and enjoy the sound immensely. If there are any cons to this laptop, it would be that the shift button has a little trouble sometimes. It has a great size for a two in one that doesn't make you squint when you are using it as a regular laptop, it has amazing battery life (my old was was 2 hours, this has clocked up to six, but I haven't stretched it that far yet. The screen is great (Again, upgrading from two years ago here), and has a three year warranty option (I definitely need that) I love it so far
