This laptop is light and can handle any research paper.

Good over all laptop, great speed, light weight......

Out of the box i had malware and viruses. There are also issues with one of the wondows 8 drivers. After i got rid of the malware and viruses it worked well except for the driver issue which is apparently common with windows 10.

The Acer is much faster than my old Toshiba laptop.

So far so good. This laptop has an excellent set of features for a very reasonable price. Very fast start-up times, and has enough power (RAM, etc.) to run many different intensive programs at the same time. Highly recommend.

Purchased and acer laptop to use with PC software which will enable me to expand the embroidery possibilities of my new sewing machine. Very excited to begin this process. The sales person at my Best Buy was beyond helpful in helping me fine the right product for my needs. Best Buy is our go to electronics store.

This is a great computer i have had it for almost 3 years now and i use it everyday. It is rugged and durable. I cay it with me everywhere. the only problem i have is that one of the speakers blew out. I was so happy with mine that i bought several more for employees at my company

The speed, storage, etc... works just fine. However, we're not able to use it with WiFi because it knocks out the router every time. Other laptops and devices work just fine. The laptops are windows 10, so OS isn't the problem. And, it knocks out other people's routers as well. I'm guessing it's the driver on this machine. Haven't gotten around to installing something else to verify. Right now it just sits, unused. Such a waste of money. This type of thing shouldn't happen to a new laptop.

I am very happy with my Acer R-14. I have had no problems except a glitch loading Windows but that was an issue with Windows not the laptop. functions well as laptop (what I use the most) as a Tablet works great but gets a bit heavy if holding for long periods of time. I would recommend this product.

So far I'm enjoying the laptop but I have only used it two-three times so I can't give it a in-depth review yet. Based on the time I have used it I'm very happy with the product & the service from Best Buy.

This was purchased as a business computer and the "flip" screen was a great selling point. It displays really well and it is being used for sales to clients to display their purchases and allow them to see their options themselves. Good purchase...reasonable price for a great computer.

I have had this computer for a while now. I like it I hate the up dates it has as an average product. I love that it is convertible but I think that the touch is not as exact as I would like. I

The laptop is a bit heavier than what I anticipated. The built in mouse is not always very responsive. Other than that, it is pretty fast and I have little patience. So far, this was a good buy.

i bought this one as my third laptop. it's lightning fast when scrolling or doing something online. besides i enjoy watching movies,hear music and seeing our pictures. the sound is great. the color on the screen is very clear. i LOVE it and i'm SATISFIED ! !

I just bought this computer a couple days ago, and it's a very nice laptop. The screen is great, the SSD is quick, and the graphics card (a big reason why I went with this computer) is surprisingly efficient. The intel HD 520 is a HUGE step up from the 5500. For $700 you get a 256GB SSD, a 1080p screen that converts, and the keyboard is actually very nice feeling (and also backlit). It is a very powerful machine and doesn't make a sound, and also hasn't had any problems with heat during my gaming tests. If you're looking for a very solid computer for under $800 and like the idea of having a convertible, then I think this is your best bet. Microsoft and Acer have a partnership, so you're getting a very great windows experience here. I'm a mac user and got this for CAD programs I use for work and it does everything I could want it to and more. Only downside is no wired ethernet port, and the metallic finish shows a lot of smudges and oil. The trackpad is decent but doesn't come close to my Macbook's trackpad, but I haven't seen one that does on any laptop honestly. Other than that, it's a quality laptop and might even replace my Mac completely.

So far I'm very pleased with this laptop/tablet; although I don't really use the tablet feature. It boots up very fast and the resolution is very good.

Specific parameters for certain work task were required., So, I handed geek squad a checklist sheet in store. They recommended this item with the mandatory features.

my aspire r is a nice little computer, it was easy to set up had to fix on problem with the drivers from Acer's page but seems to work very well and is pretty fast.

Great computer for your overall daily needs and surfing the Internet. I love that I have the option to use a touch screen.
