I am purchased this after reading many reviews. I am going back to college and doing some online classes. It was wonderful until my keyboard just started entering the wrong letters. It was past my 14 days to exchange. Thankfully I purchased geek squad. After taking it in they exchanged it anyway because nobody could figure it out. They had read this same thing had happens to others and the "fix" would only work for a few minutes. I would type an E.. And it would type EDddddd or and L would make it start over. There were many more glitches.

Very disappointed. The computer started having problems from the start and I had to return it after just a few days. Also, I did not like the feel of the keyboard.

The Acer is okay, but I've had multiple problems with the video card. Occasionally I'll be watching a video and it'll automatically shut down.

The design may not look as good and high class but the hardware is pretty much the same as a Surface Pro 4. same cpu with integrated gpu. the only big difference is the Screen itself, its only 1080p but thats good enough for me (and everyone else), ask yourself this, who wants a 3-4k monitor and cant even use the full potential with only a HD 520 integrated graphics. save some money and buy this one, if you are in the market for a i5 skylake 6600u cpu. i see no big advantages in the i7 for 300 hundred more but you do get a 500ssd.. this one comes with 256 ssd (big enough for most people)... and $50 Microsoft store voucher inside the laptop. I removed everything and install microsoft windows 10 pro on it with ease, you can get drivers from acer. i highly recommend this if you are in the market for this type of laptop/2-in-1. (keep in mind the 8GB memory are soldered so upgrading is not going to be easy or even possible)

Had a problem with downloading, with not just one but we kept having a problem with it and just got tired of it. So, we sent the machine back.

my fault, I should have gone with a different computer. it's too soon to tell, I might end up loving this as soon as I'm more tech-savy.

For the money this is not a good product. Keeps locking up and freezes up a lot would not recommend this to friends

The Acer - Aspire R14 2-in-1 14 Touch-Screen Laptop is good, but touch screen is not very good.

I have been using this laptop for just two days but I am already a fan of this machine. Everything is up to the mark. SSD is awesome. My laptop boots faster than my phone. Seems crazy but its true. Cannot go wrong with 6th Gen i5 processor. Webcam is very good for those who have to Skype regularly. Keyboard is excellent and comes with backlit too. I have given it 4 stars just because I have been using this for just 2 days now. I also want to say that I returned Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga which was also a good laptop but had a screen issue and that but was almost 200 bucks costlier. Also had returned Asus K501ux which was 15.6 and did not like that aspect. Almost went ahead with HP Spectre until I came across this sweet baby. GO AHEAD AND BUY THIS!!

Very happy with my purchase. You get a lot of machine for the price. The next comparable machines start around $800, but with a regular hard drive instead of a SSD. You have the latest Intel CPU and CPU in here which makes the battery very efficient and it will last close to 8 hours. The things I was looking for in a laptop were Full 1080 HD resolution, decent CPU/CPU, long battery life, and backlit keyboard. This machine met all those criteria. As a bonus it even comes with a USB 3.1 connection. Yes, it does not have an ethernet port but you can always buy a USB dongle if that is something you need.

I bought this to replace a top of the line yoga 2 pro which I loved (it had a fatal encounter with a cup of water). My budget this time was only half at most, so I assumed I'd end up with something I wouldn't be happy with. I researched a TON before settling on this. 2 weeks in: couldn't be happier. This is a great computer, not just 'for the price'. Battery lasts for ages, screen is gorgeous, i5/8g and ssd is lightning fast. It also looks great and feels a lot sturdier than the yoga. 2 in 1 functionality is perfect. The keyboard is excellent despite reviews of low travel or whatever. The trackpad took a day or two to get used to just because it's different from my last one but also works great now. As I said, couldn't be happier with this machine. I actually prefer it to the yoga and it cost around half.

The Acer does not compare to an HP laptop. The Acer cursor moves without cause. The zoom feature moves on its own. I had to go back to the store and buy a wireless mouse and a DVD writer. All of which I did not have to do with my previous HP laptop. I am very disappointed in the Acer laptop.
